Last Alive (One Piece Killer x Penguin)

Ch: 1 Office Raid

This is my first written story so if it's not that good it's because I don't know how to write good stories. Updates will be slow.

"Bring it on ya zombies." Kid says as his group raid's an office building. Killer decided to check out a different section of the building.

"KID I'M GOING THIS WAY!" He yelled back "I WANT TO CHECK IT OUT!"

"GO AHEAD WE'LL BE OVER HERE!"

Killer moves down the hall, slowly to make sure there are no zombies. Luckily the zombies haven't gone near this area which doesn't sit right with him. While going deeper into the hall Killer's thoughts wandered to one thought that hasn't been answered. 'Where are they?' As Killer keeps walking down the hall he hears a noise in one of the office stations.
As he starts making his way to the slightly open door he gets his blades ready to slice down the zombie. However when Killer opens the door he sees the zombie.

"Penguin?" Killer immediately closes his mouth as Penguin looks in his direction. Blood was spilling down his mouth as his hands were covered in blood and organs of the human under them. Confusing Killer after Penguin looked at him as if recognizing him and went to hide in one of the cabinets. 'Does he remember me?' Killer moves to the cabinet Penguin was in and opened it still ready to swing his blade if needed. When the cabinet opened Penguin moved as far back into the cabinet as he could.

"Dogmt combs agny cgoker." Penguin tried to say but Killer couldn't understand.

"Hold still, this won't take long." As Killer reaches in to pull Penguin out. Penguin kept making gargling noises trying to speak. However none of this mattered as he was pulled out and into the arms of Killer. The temptation to sink his teeth into Killer crossed his mind, but Penguin pushes the temptation down. He didn't want to hurt the first person he recognized.

"Skagy akgay, plecks" Penguin tried again in hopes Killer would understand: he didn't. Killer picked him up in a way that made it so Penguin's teeth were near his flesh. Killer may be taking a risk with bringing Penguin along, but he isn't taking that risk.

"I'll bring you back, hopefully the others will know what to do with you." At those words Penguin started to move more; trying to break free.

"Hey, it's alright" Killer tried to soothe, but it was futile, Penguin kept wiggling. He knew if Penguin kept this up the zombie will get free. This leaves him with not a lot of options.

"I'm sorry" Killer says as he brings down his hand to knock out Penguin. Although he was skeptical about it working, it does knock out Penguin. Killer was about to walk out the room when his mind registered a crucial detail: Penguin looks like a zombie. Now he can't bring Penguin out there till he covers the indications of him being a zombie. With this resolve Killer puts Penguin down and starts to look around the office to find anything. Luckily there was some rags big enough to hide the decay. So Killer grabbed the rags and some duck tape and soon enough he was done. With everything done, Killer picks Penguin back up and walks out of the room.

"I hope the others don't find out he's a zombie" Killer whispers as he leaves the room.
