Escape The Night Fan Fiction~ Guilt

Challenge Number 2:

James' POV:

I walked back to the lounge with the rest of the group. Lia's lifeless body was still stuck in my mind. I had tears in my eyes. I failed her.

All I could do now was see what happens next. When we got back to the lounge, Riley was waiting for us. Nikita clenched the necklace in her hand, The necklace had a thing gold chain, and a purple gem. Nikita placed it on the shelf. MatPat took a seat. I sat next to him.

Lilly's POV:

I saw Mat and James sit down. So I did. The seat felt uncomfortable. This was the seat I sat in when we voted, and it wasn't as uncomfortable. I sat up and lifted the cushion to seat if a spring was loose or something. Instead of a loose spring, I found a paper bent upwards.

"Hey it's our next clue!" I yelled as I unfolded the paper.

I read aloud.

"I need my head back! First find it's two eyes."

We all started racing around the room. We were searching and searching.

Eva's POV:

We were all searching and searching. Then I found a note.

"Guys I found a clue!" I yelled. They all huddled around me. I read aloud:

"To find the eyes, head to FatMan Slims. There you will find a surprise waiting for you."

"I don't know about this. What is the surprise?" Felix asked.

"We have to do it to escape!" Joey spoke. We all nodded and headed to FatMan Slims.

There was a HUGE rectangle thing waiting there for us. It was covered in a cloth. Mat lifted the cloth and it showed a huge green tower. It was like Jenga. There was a nite waiting for us. Mat opened the note and read it aloud:

"To find the box of eyes, you will have to pick the right tile from the tower. If not, your turn is over and the next person goes. Each must pull a card from the deck. That will be the order you go in. You must keep going in that order until someone chooses the right tile. The right tiles will be a box. Open it to see the eyes. The box it disguised like the other tiles. If you knock the tower down, you're being sent into the final challenge."

Joey's POV:

We all picked a card.

"I have an ace. What does that mean?" Nikita asked. Just like that time.

"You go first." I told her.

Nikita went up to the tower and picked a tile. 

Then went Felix. Then went me. Then there was Mat. Then there was James. Then Eva. Then went Oli and then Tyler. Oli and Tyler haven't really done anything yet.

Oli's POV:

We all went again. It was my turn. I remember telling Eva where the note was. I'm probably going into the next death challenge. I was about to pull a tile when I noticed something. The was paper peeling off of a "tile". That's "tile" is the box!

"Guys..." I started. "I know which one's the tile. This is all just a big suicide mission." I spoke.

Everyone seemed to agree. I took a deep breath and started wiggled the block out. I took another deep breath. Then I pulled the block from its place. All the tiles tumbled down. I'm going into the final challenge.

I peeled the paper off of the box. I opened the box. There was a note and....eyes. I picked up the note and read it aloud.

"Touch these eyes and the snake woman will be released. 1 must be selected by vote to battle a fellow guest for a chance to live 1 more hour."

We all went to the lounge and placed our votes. The person going up against me was...Felix.

He did seem quite concerned about the group, but I guess he didn't do anything.

We both headed to where might be our final breath.

There was this man. Roi! I've watched him in YouTube before!

"Put the eyes in the sockets. I took out the box and opened it. I saw the snake woman fast asleep in a yellow box. I took out the eyes and placed them in the sockets of a statue snake head. I saw the snake woman wake up. She started banging in the yellow box.

"You must find all the pieces of the mosaic in the body parts of a snake." Roi started he pointed at long bins filled with the guts and organs of the petrifying creature. "The person who finishes their mosaic first will survive. The other will be poisoned by the snake woman. 3...2...1...GO!" Roi yelled. Felix and I ran to separate bins.

Felix's POV:

I don't like touching snakes! I was searching and searching. Time flew by and I had gathered 4 of the mosaic's missing pieces! The last one was a struggle to find. Oli only had one. I can win this. Now he has two. Whatever. I can win this.

Oli reached deep into the guts and organ and pulled out another piece. He did again. And again. We are tied for four each. Oli was vigorously searching  for the next and final piece. So was I.

I stuck my hand deep into the bin. Why is this so hard? I'm tired! Oli seems to be frustrated as well. There was no piece! I moved on to another section. I can't find it! I'm just going to give up. That's when I felt the final piece I pulled it out. Yes! I looked over at Oli. He has his final piece too!

We were racing to our mosaics.  We were dead locked. That's when Oli went full on Sonic and beat me. He slammed the piece into the mosaic and got this big heart, he squeezed blood from it onto the snake head. He cleansed the artifact. The snake woman broke free and ran towards me. I screamed in agony as the snake woman bit into my neck and gnawed  on my flesh. I felt my eyelids get heavy. I shut my eyes and........died.
