"Eliziana! Move your ass right now! You're wasting time!" A sweet sounding girl called through the phone, causing echos bounce in her room. "Uh-huh, yeah. Okay." She said, slowly feeling sleepier by the minute. "Wake up, Eliziana! Look, I know how tiring it is. But please participate with me! " She shouted angrily, making the sleepy girl jolt up. "Okay, alright."
She quickly opened her closet.Since New York was having such a cold weather, she quickly took the thick jacket off the rack and dressed up. She looked at the phone and checked the time. It was exactly 12:30 P.M. Putting the phone into her jacket, she raced down the stairs. Although the terrible wallpaper, dusty carpets and floors, unopened packaging boxes that need unloading, she wasn't that worried of the great mess. She has enough time on Monday anyway to clean the whole house.
Walking into the front porch, she grabbed the keys and involuntarily closed the boring door. Walking in the sidewalk, she noticed a rather old man carrying a newspaper picking up the newly delivered mail. She gladly waved a hand at him 'Hi Mr. Carlos!' The nice man noticed the brunette and warmly waved back at her. What an awesome old guy he was, she thought to herself. When she moved to the suburbs, the man gave extremely delicious chilly and a small welcome plant. Who wouldn't love that man?
Then passing through the suburbs, she went into the busy streets. It was beautiful, it was. Although having to go through the biggest stampedes, not so beautiful. The cold winter breeze was everywhere. She was terrified of stampedes, she would probably hyperventilate and faint going through. Claustrophobia was a terrible fear of her's, and it led to a million bad nightmares.
"Holy shit." She mouthed. This was horrid. Her friend said it would be real close. She didn't even know WHERE was the actual place the coffee shop was. "This is stupid.Fuck this crap." She gave up. But a tall ginger popped out of nowhere "Finally, I've been waiting for you!" The ginger said. She dragged Eliziana through the crowd, making the brunette extremely sick.
"You know what, you actually weren't clear about where this place was. I was freaking out." She said after they got through the stampede.
"Oh, sorry. Imagine yourself with an always-sleepy lazy friend. I was getting impatient, what do you think would happen?" the orange-haired girl said sarcastically.
"That you would be really nice and forgive me for my sleep-obsessed self?" She replied.
"Ah, forget it." She said irritatingly.
The two went inside a small enclosed coffee shop, it was ironic how there were a small group of people inside. Because in England, there will probably be more people than this. But it was a busy city, all the people would probably be at work at times like this. When she opened the glass door, the small wind chimes ringed a small tune.
"Why did you actually called me to go here?" Eliziana curiously, sitting on the soft cushion on the chair. "You know, your sorta new to this place, and all that shit, and it must be boring living by yourself right?" She looked at Eliziana. "And, How does it explain the whole wake up your kind friend Eliziana because she doesn't think about me." She asked straight.
"The flat you're living in has like, three rooms, right? So I was thinking, since the rent of apartments are sort of you know, humph. I think you need like a roommate or something." She smiled. " For your information Miles, I do like being alone. My uncle now lives in Hollywood; So what? He just left a promise to mom and it was "to make her an independent child. filled with joyous memories to keep. But yeah, maybe I need company." She replied.
"Great! I found the perfect roommates for you! Hey, do you want coffee?" The ginger asked. "Yeah, but-" she suddenly was cut by her friend, who was currently walking awkwardly to the counter shop.
"This is getting boring. She's not getting clearer."
"Wait, she said roommates. What? this is not getting any clearer." She sighed irritatingly, wanting to pull her hair in anger. Her mind was flying off to places once again. She could be somewhere more interesting than this, more fun, something exciting somethi-
Her mind was interupted by the windchimes' soft sounds, which made her head turn. A person just came in.
"Great, I just thought i was having the worst day. It just got worst." She thought.
And Eliziana is just seeing the plain begining of her stress.
