~Third POV~

The young demigodess and the archangel were somewhat even in fighting skills, but the demigodess' energy was failing her. First the travel to where ever the hades they were and then raising  the dead. She was exhausted.

Michael could see that she was getting tierd from the way her movements became sluggish and easier to  predict as time went on.

Michael stepped back to avoid her attack, and Lilly, who was not expecting him to do so, stumbled and suddely had an angelblade against her throath, and was backed up against a wall.

"It seemes you've failed. Time to say goodby-"

The archangel was cut off, by the sound of a gun going off.

Michael  hunched over to reveal Sam standing a few metres back still holding the colt.

Just as she registerd what had happend a sharp pain shot through her and she looked down to see the growing red spot around the blade lodged into her stomach.

Michael had done it. He stabbed her.

Lilly  reached up to touch the blade. Her  hand was shaking. Everything was going in slowmotion.

She leaned back against the wall and slid down until I was sitting on the ground.

Sam ran towards her but paused mid-step as  they saw the angelgrace glow from Dean. The glow stopped and he got pushed himself up to look at the two other hunters.

He was Dean again.

"Heyheyhey, look at me. Look at me. You're gonna be fine Lills. "

Dean limped over to them whilst praying to Castiel. After a few seconds he turned to a louder method.

"CAS!" Dean screamed. "Damn it where the hell is he!"
"Don't know. Come on Lills, stay with us. Stay with us. You're gonna be fine." Sam said.
"CAS! CAS! Ca-" A faint flutter of wings was heard.

"What is going on?" Castiel asked berfore looking at Dean and following up with "You're bleeding."
"I'm fine. She's not, though."

Castiel turned to Sam and Lilly. He touched the demigodess' forehead, in an atempt to heal her.

"It's not working. Why is it not working?"
"I dunno.. Maybe it's my time.."

Castiel sighed and quickly turned to heal Dean.
"No. You are not dying. Not.. not today. Not like this." Sam said.
"If Cas can't heal this," Lilly gestured to her abdomen, and the angelblade "Then I think we're outta luck." She gasped out.

"This is my fault. I let that bastard in and I-"

"It's not your... fault, you.. you.. Idoit."
"I'll.... see you.. in the underworld. Don't.... be early, you idiots.."

"Lilly.. Lilly?! Lills! Lillian Campbell don't you dare-" Sam exclaimed
"I love you guys.. And Cas... You're pretty cool.."

And then..nothing. She felt nothing. No pain, no emotions.

But the last thing Lilly saw would follow her around in the underworld forever. She had never seen Sam or Dean cry before.

And then everything went black for the demigod.

~Meanwhile in New York~

Nico Di Angelo was  minding his own business, chewing on a fry from his happy meal in central park, when a shot of searing pain hit him. He almost fell off the bench he was sitting on.

Then he felt it again. It was familiar. Something painful, but somehow also peaceful.
It took him a second to realise what it was. Someone he knew, someone he cared for was dying.

Nico let the closest shadow engulf him, as he pictured the strawberry fields at Camp Half-Blood. He stumbled out of the shadow cast from Thalias tree, and ran through the border and towards the big house.

Once he reached the steps he took stopped for a second to breathe. Then he practically flew up the six steps and pushed the wooden door open, running into Dinoysus.

"Whoa, watch where you're goin' Nick!" The god said before shoving his way past Nico.

Nico glared at the god and ventured further into the house, and caught sight of Chiron in his wheelchair sorting through a deck of cards.

"Chiron!"
The centaur turned his head to look at Nico.
"Nico, my boy! He paused. "What's wrong?"
"Who died? I felt someone die."

The centaur turned his wheelchair to face the demigod. A look of worry and confusion etched into his face.

"Nobody has died here today, Nico. Are you sure-"
"Yes. I'm sure, but if nobody here died then- No." He slowly shook his head. "No. No that's- that's not possible.." He muttered to himself.
"Nico, are you alright?"

"She's dead."
"Who's dead, boy?" Chiron said seriously.
"Lilly. She's- she's-"

Chrion got up from his chair and put his hand on Nico's shoulder. The boy looked broken, as tears ran down his face.

"She's going to elysium for sure. We will all miss  her."
