They all got the letters one by one. The whole town had taken an IQ test to get into an advanced boarding school. The only one in the town of Simmers. But only six were chosen. These five weren't just chosen for the school, but also for what was about to happen.

The five all met at the Simmers Boarding School for the Intelligent (SBSI). They stood in the center of the building while the headmistress, Ana Verari, walked up to them. "Welcome, students. I'd like to congratulate you Ms. Indina Matthews, Mr. Charlie Phargus, Mr. Stuart Thompson, Ms. Celia Daniels..."

Indina, Charlie, Stuart, and the other children stared at Celia. All they could see was her eyes. The SBSI wasn't just for children, it was for adults, too, which Celia was. The students were shown each of their rooms. Although Celia was with people for the first time in five years, she still felt alone. And she was still grieving.

Indina stared at the ceiling of her room. She was so proud of herself. She had shown her parents she could be something. They always doubted her intelligence, but she was smarter than them! By getting into this school she had proved them wrong. See Mom and Dad! I am something she thought.

Indina got up. She was going to explore. Curfew was at 12:30 and it was only 10:00. Good. Enough time for me to check things out. She walked through the empty halls, strawberry blonde curls bouncing with every step. Indina was a curious child, always up to something. She was nothing like her family.

Indina stopped in her tracks when she noticed that Celia's door was opened. She peeked in to see Celia drawing. She watched for a few more minutes. She couldn't tell what Celia was drawing. Strange woman Indina thought. She continued to walk down the long hall, seeing what she could find.

The next day, the students woke up to the smell of breakfast. They ran down the stairs (all except Celia) and into the kitchen down the hall. They say at the long table and began scarfing down their food. Celia only ate the fruit. "You gonna eat that," Charlie said, pointing at her bacon and eggs. Celia shook her head and gave him her plate.

"Good morning. Your lessons will start at 9:00. I expect your rooms to be nice and tidy by then. We will meet in the library," Ana Verari said walking into the dining room. Celia left immediately to clean her room, leaving Indina, Charlie, and Stuart whispering. "Do you think she's into witchcraft?" Charlie asked.

Celia layed on her bed and gazed at the ceiling. She had heard some of the comments the Tweens had made. But she didn't mind. She was different and she liked that. Soon, her eyelids became heavy, but Celia fought her sleep. She had been haunted with the same nightmare for years. No, she wouldn't dare sleep.

BING BONG! Celia and the other students hurried to the school's library. It was fairly large and had tons of books. Some that looked like they hadn't been read in years. The students sat in the big red chairs. Ana Verari smiled. "Who's ready to learn?"
