Sans was hanging out with his nephew, brother, and sister-in-law. Jon was playing on the floor and had just summoned a Gaster Blaster and surprised everyone, including Chara and Papyrus.
"Uncle Sans look!" He cries out in joy and the skeleton in question goes to make a pun when there's a knock on the door followed by someone opening and closing the window.
Chara opens the door easily and Frisk runs into the room through Papyrus's bedroom.
Once Chara comes back and sees Frisk with Bryan in her arms, she tells them something no one expected.
"There are some people here who want to take Bryan and Jon away because they're not monsters." Sans, Papyrus, and Frisk's eyes widen. "We need to hide them somewhere." Sans nods and takes them to the portal in the backyard.
"Mommy? Auntie Frisk?" Jon asks in confusion and concern.
"We love you guys. Stick together." Sans then kisses Bryan on the head while Papyrus does the same to Jon. Bryan glows aqua blue before fainting and Jon glows orange and then red before fainting and their parents gently put them in the portal. Then the backyard is flooded with the people that still can't accept monsters for who they are.
Jon and Bryan wake up in a strange place. A woman walks up to them and begins asking them questions. Jon and Bryan can't answer them because they don't remember anything except for two things: their names and that they're cousins. The woman tells them that she'll find them a home to live in and the people she finds will take great care of them.
