You're My Mate

chapter 1

*Authors Note:* Karter's eldest brother, Jaden, is mated to Blackpinks Luna, Rosé making the packs bond even stronger. Jacob is also mated to Blackpinks, Lisa. Kataleya, Karter's elder sister is mated to EXOs alpha, Suho securing our packs alliances to one another. Karter is still 17 meaning she still hasn't found her mate and won't find him until she has turned 18. Jennie barely turned 18 but unfortunately hasn't found her mate yet.  

*Karter's p.o.v* 

"Karter, wake up or your going to be late again and you don't want to be late to yyour last day of school, do you?" Screamed my mother as she entered my bedroom to fully wake me up by opening my bedroom curtains to let the intensive rays of sun lighten up my room. "Five mor minutes" I groaned knowing fully well that if I closed my eyes again I wouldn't wake up in five minute but instead those five extra minutes would turn into five hours."Get up!" "I'm going, I'm going" I said finally getting up and heading to the bathroom to do my morning routine. 

*Time skip*

After getting ready and eating breakfast I was finally ready to leave and was only waiting for Jennie to pick me up and go to school. Unfortunately, my siblings had already graduated high school two years ago and so I had to go to school by myself. Fortunately though all my bestfriends were in the same grade as I was. After 5 minutes Jennie finally texted me saying she was outside. "Hey, gurl so are you excited for the last day of school?" She asked. "Yeah of course I am but I'm also very nervouse as that means that my Birthday party is also coming up" "Listen, I know you're nervouse as that means that you'll finally be able to meet your mate, but isn't that what we dreamed of ever since we were small?" "Yeah I guess your righ I'm probably just worrying about nothing." Soon enough we arrived at school which was full of chaos everywhere as everyone was excited to get their summer started as soon as possible.

Surprisingly, the morning went by pretty fast and it was soon lunch were we got to meet with our friends for the last time in school. "Hey you guys, over here!" Yelled Jackson while he waved at Jennie and me to come and eat with them."Hey, I heard your birthday party is coming up, so like are we invited or what?" Asked Jinyoung. "Yeah of course you're all invited you're my my bestfriends and plus it wouldn't be aparty without you guys." "Hey, Kater, I heard that since it's your 18th birthday party your parents have invited all the neighboring packs including BTS, is that true?" "Yeah, my parents wanted all the packs to be there as it will give me a chance to find my mate." BTS is the "newest pack in the block" and nobpdy has officially met them not even my parents who know everyone. When we sent out an invitation to the pacl we didn't really expect much of a response from them but to our surprise we got a response from the alpha himself, Jungkook, saying that they would be glad to attend the party as he is also very eager to meet his mate.

Soon lunch ended having only two periods left until summer starts. To say that those periods were boring would be an understatement. 

*Time skip* 

Finally, the bell rang singnaling the end of school. We were now officially over with school as most werewolfs don't accustom going to a university as we usually follow in our parents footsteps to either lead a pack or serve a pack.  When your parents are alphas and lunas their children typically end up matibg with other alphas and lunas and therefore we keep our status. All the alphas will be attending meaning I could potentially meet that special someone but theres also A slight chance that I could possibly not, like Jennie, one of my longest and bestfriends turned 18 a couple months ago but she still hasn't found her mate this party could probably be a huge chance for her to change that.

When I got home everyone was still very busy as they were all preparing for the party that was in a week. My mother wanted everything to be perfect as not only did she have to keep a reputation of being 'flawless' as she says bit aslo had to put on a party fit for many alphas and lunas. I went to my fathers office to say a quick hello and then to say hello to my mother. After that I went up to my room a took a nap. This week was gonna be hectic might as well rest while I can.
