Yesterday's memories (Ex-Wife)

"Baby?" Upon hearing her name, Alexa faced her husband who just arrived home with a big smile.

He hugged her putting his head on her shoulder tiredly, she hugged back running her fingers in his soft black hair and softly said "rough day?" 

He shooked his head furiously pulling back "you can't even imagine" her eyes lingered on his neck for a second before raising her head to face him again with a smile "why don't you take a shower then, I'll be heating the dinner"

She went to the kitchen quickly not waiting to hear his reply and started chopping some onion so harry followed her "Oh.. I ate already, It was getting pretty late and one of the investors insisted so.." she froze, a second later she dropped the knife and didn't even have the enough courage to face him "Ok, Go shower then and sleep first then, I will eat and follow you to bed" 

She heard his steps going further, and she wished his heart had feets too, she would have noticed him drifting apart faster then.

Hearing the shower run was her final straw, she broke down, remembering the hickeys all over his neck, the shiny pink lipstick on his shirt as clear as the sun in the midday. She cried and cried. Hoping he would hear her, feel her and how he was breaking her. But he didn't. He never did anyway.

Going upstairs, she had a seat next to the bed, watching her husband sleeping soundly, " a rough day huh? She sure knows how to exhaust you in bed"

she took a deep breath biting her lip "or is it you who can't hold himself back when it comes to her?".

She unlocked the last drawer with the key she always kept in her pocket, pulling out some agenda, she grabbed a photo, the other woman's photo. Letting out a bitter laugh "who to blame you though? She is a woman even I can go bi for her"

Looking at today's date, she sighed deeply "A month remaining to both of yours anniversary, when are you going to give her what she wants? And what i need too.."

Standing up she went to the other room to sleep, It's been this way since 11 months. Sleeping separately, even though her husband doesn't know about it.
