Late Again

It was the last day of junior year, it all went by so fast. I can't believe we are already seniors now.

"Hey girl you still coming over tonight."
"ALYA DONT SNEEK UP ON ME!" Marinette practically jumped out her skin.

Marinette replys with a yes, they then talk for a little bit. Then Alya and Marinette part their ways and go home

As Marinette is walking she starts to over think everything. I want to go but the one problem is that our whole grade is going to be there, and that means Adrien will. But I decided that I would stay in the friend zone with Adrien. But then I just started to distance myself from him cause it's hard to give up on someone you've been in love with. It's been so long since we spoke.

Marinette gets home, she doesn't say a word to her parents and just heads straight up to her room. She throws her backpack on her chair and plops into bed.

"Marinette what's wrong."
"I don't know Tikki, I guess I just feel akward about going to Alya's house cause Adrien is gonna be their. We haven't talked in forever, like I don't like like him anymore but I still feel akward around him."

Marinette gets a message from none other than Luka. After Marinette separated herself from Adrien, her and Luka became closer. Marinette grabs her phone to see what it says. Luka is asking Marinette if she is going to Alya's party, he explains situation about how he feels akward about going. He goes into say that he doesn't know that many people except for his sister Juleka and Marinette. Since Marinette and Luka are close they tell each other also most everything. So Marinette reply's explaining her problem. Next thing she knows Luka is requesting and FaceTime call. Marinette excepts it. They start talking about random things. Then Marinette looks at the clock and realizes what time it is. Marinette hangs up so she can get ready.

Shoot shoot shoot, Luka always gets me off track. This is exactly what happened last year, we both should up late because of him. (She laughs a little just thinking about it).

"Ahh Tikki what should I wear."
"How about your new summer dress."
"Uhhhh I don't know...I'm not the kind of  dress person."
"Marinette then why did you buy it."
"It was an impulsive buy okayyy now lets stay on track."
"Marinette darling are you alright up there I hear voices."
"Ya mom I'm good I'm just watching a video."
"Oh all right."
"Phew that was a close one."

Tikki comes out with these cute high waisted shorts, and a white flowered tang top. Marinette loves it. She doesn't have time to put up her hair so she just leaves it down. As she heads out of the bakery she notices Luka. She calls his name and he waves back. He waits for her to cross the street where they meet up. They then continue down the sidewalk to Alya's house.

"Well Mari you looks nice."
"Ah it's not anything special" she nervously laughs.
"What about me your not gonna say anything about my outfit."
"Luka your outfit looks nice, are you happy now"
"Yes."

They both burst into laughter.

"Well here we are...hey you okay."Luka asked in a concerned voice.
"Ugh why do I feel so akward."
"How about this to make you feel better I'll stay by your side the whole time, I won't leave to go talk to my friends. Not that I have many anyway haha. But you do the same for me capeesh."
"capeesh." Marinette replies.

Marinette knocks on the door expecting Alya to open the door to let her and Luka in. Instead of Alya opening the door she sees none other than Adrien Agreste opening the door. Marinette has a look of shock on her face. Luka quickly grabs her hand, he says hi to Adrien and pulls Marinette inside. Adrien is just left with a blank face trying to comprehend what just happened. He closes the door and joins his friends at the table.
