his mother,Tetsuya Hana had been mentally unstable for over two year now, and her constant obsession with wanting a baby girl has driven her to self harm. the family doctor and psychiatrist had warned the family that she might kill herself if she doesn't get what she wants, and no amount of drugs was helping her. his father, tetsuya yato has taken upon himself to always keep his wife happy, to spoil her till death do them apart. this oath he has taken, leads him to doing something nobody thought would happen.
"sir, we realize that you and miss. Tetsuya have been trying for a baby girl and have tried on your side all you can to help her, but mother nature has her own rules. And one cannot mess with mother nature." cried the doctor.
completely disheveled he thought he lost hope.
"mother nature can do what she wants. but where my Hana is concerned, only i make the decisions. and my decisions are final." mr. tetsuya rubbed his forehead, and felt cold sweat run down his back. he had made a decision all right, but the future might have consequences.
'ah to hell with the consequences' his mind was not in two halves anymore. the future didn't matter. all that mattered was that Hana is happy!
"i want you to give me a new birth certificate. and make sure all the nurses who operated on hana are made aware of this fact." yato stated, almost threatingly.
" sir, what you're stating seems illegal on my behalf. as a doctor i have certain codes that i need to live by. they are my principles. they cannot be broken" yelped the helpless doctor.
"doctor, your'e principles are not of my concern. if you don't do what i say, then will you take the responsibility of my wife's life on your shoulders? the burden of two murders will be on your hand when my hana dies and i kill myself too. what im asking you is not too difficult." the corner of yato's lips were raised. an evil grin almost came up, but he regained his composure.
"sir, i apologise. i am a helpless human without family or friends because i am completely devoted to my work. my entire life is spent serving others. i have lost patients, i am not proud of this fact, but my principles have never changed." he stood firm, but his hands trembled like leaves on a windy day.
"then i am sorry also, because as of this day you will no longer set foot outside this mansion, lest you tell someone of what im about to do. ethics never mattered to me, you see, when you have the money to buy the world, rules are made 'for' you, not against you."
*he flips his phone on*
" i have already informed my assistant. they have informed the hospital about your term of leave. you shall now rot where the other who have defied me rot." yato could no longer hide his smile, he gestured towards his servants who dragged the screaming and clawing doctor away.
"the deed is done.......now to watch my hana smile......."
hana-san had'nt know yet anyways, she was completely exhauted after the delivery, so she was still sleeping. the nurses and midwife were bought, and the house servants are loyal enough. if it is to keep his wife from insanity, switching a baby's gender should not be too big a harm.
and so, to the world, ukiyo will now be a healthy young girl, with beautiful light skin, and the most lovable smile. what could ever be wrong with this decision?
