Marley rushed around her room grabbing an old paperback book, the yellowing pages rustling as they brushed against the edge of her bag. She wanted to be prepared, but she had to leave for her flight in less than 2 hours. She hastily grabbed her suitcase and scurried down the stairs, trying not to trip over the untidy pile of shoes at the bottom of the stairway. As she reached the bottom of the staircase, she called out to the younger boy."Mason!"
"Great, You're finally ready..."
The girl rolled her eyes at her twin brother. Although Mason and her were twins they never acted like it. Marley was always seen as the more mature and oldest of the two. Mason had a immature nature which annoyed Marley to the extreme yet it was what truly balanced them out. But she really would not be the same without him in her life.

When they reached the airport Marley thanked her brother and swiftly leaped out of the car. Her luggage trailed behind her as she ran through the airport. She finally through the baggage claim and security before she plopped down into an uncomfortable chair. She popped her AirPods in a put her favorite playlist on shuffle.
Her thoughts raced through her mind; the only reason why she was going the UK was because she was going to meet up with one of her first online friends. Aubrey Schmidt. Although they've known each other for nine years, they had never had the chance to meet until now.
Aubrey constantly made claims about how she could set her up with someone great, but Marley didn't need that in her life just yet. Even though they had practically been childhood friends they still don't really have much in common. I just broke up with James was her excuse to get out of meeting someone new every time. But it had been over a year she could barely use that excuse without making it seem like just one big joke. Marley just didn't want to waste her time again.
When she was finally able to board the plane a plain yet pleasant melody poured into her ear. The lyrics stuck in her head, I'm happy for you. I'm smiling for you. I'd do anything for, you for you.
She would realize later that she would be anything for him. No matter how much she knew it couldn't work out like that.
