"I'm surprised you invited me over and not Ross." She smiled.

I sidehugged Stacey and then invited her inside. My dad is here but my mom went out shopping. Of course she didn't invite her strangely introverted daughter.

"Well Ross and I are on hold for a bit. And who says I didn't want to spend the day with my BFF?" I judge her arm.

"Okay fill me in! Why are you two on hold?"

"We argued about burritos and tacos yesterday night..." I realize how silly that sounds and restrained myself from face palming.

"Ok girl... that's dumb. Gimme your phone."

I laugh thinking she's kidding. Judging by her proffered band I can tell she isn't. "Oh..." carefully escaped my mouth before handing over my phone.

A few seconds pass and she hands it back. "Here. Now go to the park. That's where you're meeting him.

"Hey babe. I just wanted to talk you know? It's just like any other time we have talked." I could tell he was a bit worried... but why would he be worried with no context about what was going on?

"Okay, I want to talk about whatever happened between us." His voice was rushed.

I took a seat at the bench and he followed suit. "It's just that we argue a lot. Like lately we've been disagreeing about a lot of things and I don't like it. I want to be like how we used to be."

He thought a bit. "Well, what do we do when we usually have disagreements?"

I grinned. "Are you talking about Chuck E Cheese's again?"

A smile spread across his adorable, yet chiseled face. He kissed me and took my hand. "Well come on."

Chuck E Cheese day was definitely much needed. I'm glad I found someone I could really connect with and do things I like with without judgement. And for him to be so caring and cute at the same time...
