"Merida! Don't you dare go out that door." My Mother shouted, "Jackson Frost is not a suitable friend for a princess"
"You can't control my life, Mother, it's my life!" and I fled through the gateway and into the glen.
Jack Frost is my best friend. My partner in crime. But, for some reason, Mother does not think that he is a good friend for me, just because I almost got myself killed when I was with him. Well, with the rest of the gang. Mother doesn't seem to have a problem with Rapunzel, but that's probably because she's royalty, not from an enemy clan and a girl. Queen Elinor of Dun Broch severely dislikes Hiccup, but she HATES Jack.
Anyway, I raced through the field, down the mountain and into the forest, where, already waiting half way up a tree, was Jack Frost.
"Heya Jackson. What crazy idea have you got today?"
"Hi Mareedo!"
"Shut yer mouth, Jack! You know how much I hate being called that!" I yelled. His face went paler than it was before (if that's possible), so I think I got my message across.
"Then don't call me Jackson!" We were growling in each other's faces.
"Fine! But what are we doing today?"
"I thought that we could spy on the Queen"
"What? My mum?"
"No. Of course not." Jack drawled, but somehow, I knew he was being serious. If my mother so much as caught a glimpse of the boy who almost got her daughter killed, she would have his head.
"Rapunzel's Mum?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"No. I see her almost every day, to collect Rapunzel. We're going to spy on the Queen of Arendelle."
Jack was always coming up with things like this. But the Queen of Arendelle? That was a bit far fetched. He started striding of in the direction of the frozen kingdom, when I suddenly remembered something from a few years ago.
"Jack. The wisps! You should never mess with fate."
"What in the world are you talking about?"
"Oh, don't act all innocent around me, Jackson Overland Frost. I was waching you, I saw what the wisps showed you."
"Meri-" Jack pleaded.
"You followed them into the woods and they took you to two pieces of paper. One of the Queen of Arendelle and one of you. Then you picked them up, and the moment they touched, you and the Queen both burst into flames. You know what that means? You and Elsa of Arendelle can never be together!" I sobbed
"That's just stupid! You tell me off for this, yet you turn your mother into a bear!" He screeched.
"The wisps led me to that. It was my fate. But they warned you against this!"
"You're either coming or you're not, 'cause I'm not waiting for you to decide!"
Jack strutted off, in a northerly direction.
"Well I'm going to the forests of the east, so don't blame me when the world comes crashing down around you!" And I didn't look back.
