MTF-63 was on duty to guard SCP-096's chamber but he fell asleep while sitting on his chair.
The power went out causing all the lights to shut off. This single event caused the MTF to wake up from the sound of all the lights closing at once.
MTF-63: huh??... What's that sound?
MTF-63 then realized the gate to SCP 096's chamber has opened. He was positioned on the west side as SCP 096 spent most of his time on the east side facing the wall.
But this time. SCP 096 was facing the west wall and MTF-63 has seen his face.
SCP-096 then started screaming in distress while the MTF spoke to the announcement speakers: “SCP 096 IS ABOUT TO BREACH I REPEAT, SCP 096 IS ABOUT TO BREACH AHHHHHHHHHH-”
At this moment 096 has broke through the glass that the MTF was looking through. SCP-096 then Started attacking MTF-63 while the speaker's were still active, Tyler and Ruy woke up by the sound and immediately told Karen to wake up.
Tyler: Karen wake up! There's been a breach!
Karen: huh?
Ruy: the Announcement speakers said SCP-09 what now had just breached containment.
Karen: WAIT WHAT?!
Tyler: The cell doors are open! We have a chance to escape!
Karen: How do we deal with the SCP? IF OUR CELL DOORS IS OPEN AND LIGHTS OFF ITS A POWER OUTAGE.
Ruy: Wait... if its a power outage aren't the other SCP's also escaped containment?
Tyler: Aw shit.
The group them decided to attempt an escape with the key card they had. Luckily they overheard MTF talking about 914 and how he can upgrade stuff.
At this moment the group decided to wait and see where it was located and if they are able to upgrade the key card they have.
The MTF left and the group sneaked into 914's Chamber and placed the key card. They put the settings on Fine to see what was the outcome
Result:
They ended up with a Major Scientist Key Card.
They left the room but they encountered an SCP. They encountered SCP 049.
049 Decided to go after Karen. The rest of the group left to go to Heavy Containment. Because they had stolen a map of the Facility in 914's room.
