chapter 3

one week

I was in my room as I was working and reading all the reports that Bunny was sending me and telling him what they need to work on I was on the phone when there was a knock on my door I put my phone down telling Bunny I would call him later before dinner "yes" I called out 

"Marinette we have guests and we need Adrien, can you come now?" Emily's voice came I open the door 

" I'm not ready,"  said as she looked at me

 "you look fine ,"

"no I am changing," I said as I walk into the bathroom 

"Mari, you look fine you dont have to be dressed everywhere you go," she said

 "no I have to its part of the rule in the army if your not in uniform or clothing that is appropriate then your whole team get punished" I said 

"okay I will see you downstairs " she said as I walk out and close my door going downstairs right then I heard voices it was my older brother I missed a step falling Adrien's eyes widen

 "Mari" he ran down the stairs to me where I was on the floor "are you alright? are you hurt? can you walk?" he asked so many questions at once right then Emily came 

"Oh my Mari are you alright?" she asked 

"I'm not feeling well I think I should go to my room and get some rest," I said as I run up the stairs and to my room locking the door and laying down on my bed as tears roll down my checks

Adrien 

I and my mom walk to the dining hall to see the Miraculous family "what happen we heard someone fall?" Marin asked

 "that was are bodygurad she not feeling well so she went back to her room," my mom said

 "yes well as we were saying we want to through a party for our anniversary for being partners over 6 years," Plagg said as we nodded 

"when will be the party?" I asked 

" how about this Friday," he asked as my father talk with him Marin looked at  me 

"so who is this new bodyguard?" he asked

 "oh you see I have been running away from my last ones so they got me one that blends in and it works she is cool," I say turning red 

"Oh look at someone who is red," Isabella said as she laughs 

"hey it's not you dont like someone," I said we then heard someone going down the stair everyone looked to see who it was Marinette walk down the stairs and ran out the door she was wearing her leather jacket and leggings she smells of wine like she has been drinking 

"where in the world is she going?" my mother asked me and Marin walk to the door to see she was on her bike and left

 "wait where did she get that?" he asked

 "that's her bike she got it when she was in the army," I said as he nodded 

Marinette 

I was at my old apartment I walk in to see all the photo's of my family 

Flashback 

Marinette was at home in her office working as her family came in "Marinette guess what day is today?" her mother asked 

"Its Monday, June 1 st," she said

 "no silly it's your birthday," my father said as I smile and looked at him 

"really how old am I now," she asked as she laughs

 "your 15 honey now let's go downstairs," her brother said as he grabbed her as they both ran downstairs after a few hours 

 "we sent you your gifts to your apartment," her mother said 

"Oh I forgot to tell you I move from that apartment but I will have Taylor get them" she smiled as they were windows shattering and breaking 

"guards" my father yelled out as they all came around the family Marinette new what was happening  her eyes widen

 "Sorry," she said as she ran passed everyone her mother cried out her name and her brother her mother was holding my her father well the guards were holding back she can remember the tears they had in their eyes but it was to protect them all

Flashback end

I got back to the mansion and got off my bike and walk to the mansion doors I walk in to see Emily and Tiki by the stirs I still had my helmet on so she would not see me "Mari?" Emily asked  

Emily 

"I am fine I will be in my room if you need me sorry for running out I needed to go get something I won't do it again and it's okay if you want me to be sent back to the army," Marinette said 

"no its okay to go but we need to know and there is, a place and time for that as a mother I am worried and I can tell that something is wrong with you and that you are emotionally upset" I said as she nodded walking to her room "and we are having the Miraculous family stay the night," she  yelled out as I looked at me and nodded
