despite the snow blanketing the ground, and the snowflakes dancing around the air, jeongin felt as though he was on fire. his vision blurred as tears burnt his eyes, the sight infront of him engrained into his mind forever. the once pure white snow was stained red and black. the screams resonated in his mind, yet he couldn't tell if the screams were his or the others surrounding him. he felt his throat tighten, smoke rising in the air and twisting itself around him, filling his lungs. his lungs and throat start to scream for air, as his vision slowly starts turning black.
Benji wakes up sweating, his head pounding as the memories resurfaced. his heart was racing, thoughts swirling around his mind like a never-ending blizzard. tears start pouring down his face, the pressure finally getting to him. the tears burnt, like lava erupting from a volcano. he sobbed until he had no tears left to cry, the suffocating silence around him was just a reminder that he was alone. there was no one there to comfort him, no one to wipe his tears and tell him everything would be okay. he was alone. his heart slowly starts beating at a more regular pace, wiping his tears on his sleeve, the rough material brushing against the scars lining his wrists.
