Tessa looked down at the deep clear blue water of Flat Head lake. She couldn't believe it was about 300 feet deep. Well, it was time to put that to the test she supposed. She bent over one last time to check her knots. She tightened the one on her ankle but left the knots on the rock alone. She was nervous, even though she couldn't understand why, this was what she always wanted..... Right? She always wanted to die, to end her pain, the only thing holding her back before was gone. Tessa took a deep breath and looked over the side of her little dingy, she could see straight to the bottom of the deep lake, "Well, it's no use putting it off any longer." Tessa bent over, barely lifting the heavy rock, she jumped into the water. She looked up at the surface of the water as the rock pulled her down. She felt.... peaceful, she wondered why she hadn't had the nerve to do this years ago, it would have saved her so much pain. She let out her last breath and watched the bubbles drift lazily upward as the moon light hit them, making it look like they were glowing. Tessa turned her head, her vision beginning to go black at the edges, she was surprised to see a black shape rapidly becoming closer, and right as it was on top of her, she blacked out.
