You had been traveling along with Alex and the others for a while now. It was rather obvious that along the way you developed feelings for him. You were a bit afraid of these feelings at first but now all you wanted to do was admit and tell Alex how you really felt although you were hesitant over the fact that ZhenZhen and Alex had formed such a bond. In fact it was a bond you and Alex never had. Maybe you were envious of the bond. It surely seems hard to tell. Your mind snaps back to reality as you watched everyone a bit panicked. Currently your friends are rather urgently trying to fix the whole...alien attacking problem. You had to admit you were surprised they were handling this so well. In fact they practically had won. Oh wait-

They did!

Everyone gasped before pausing and shouting "We did it?!"

 You smiled running towards everyone "Holy shit you guys- we saved the world !!" You shouted with a smile. You had to admit you never thought you would say "We saved the world-" "We have to throw a party it's not everyday you save the worlddd !" Dariush said excitedly. You laughed "True I'm down for a party." You spoke with a nod. Everyone gave a thumbs up in agreement. "Well lets throw us a party!" Gabriel said with a grin.

(TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE PARTY)

You sighed sitting down with a yawn. "I'm all partied out-" You said with a soft laugh. As you zoned out from being tired to your surprise the one and only Alex walked over. "Uh hey Y/N-" he said softly he seemed awkward..like normal. You liked the fact he was just as awkward as you.  "Hey Alex whats up?" You asked turning to look at him. "Not much... um can I ask you something Y/N?" "Sure-" You say with a nod. "Now that all this alien stuff is over I can finally have the time to tell you this...I just wanted to say that I feel like things have been a bit weird between us..I don't know just I've been hanging out with ZhenZhen a lot and everything and I noticed the way you look at us-" He said rubbing his neck. 'Shit...he noticed my staring?'  You thought. "Oh well I only look at you guys like that because-" You paused thinking. You wouldn't dare tell him you had a crush on him. "You like me?" He said softly "Correct me if I'm wrong I just kinda feel like you might have feelings for me which is like cool and everything." He said visibly nervous. "Yeah I like you alright? And I wasn't planning on telling you like this but here we are. And I know you like ZhenZhen and everything but-" You said before getting cut off by Alex. "No Y/N I like you.." he said with a soft smile. "I just never got around to telling you...all this alien stuff kept me from talking to you. I thought the world ending was the most important thing...but you are-" He said looking you in the eyes now. You froze. You definitely weren't expecting this. "I'm more important then the end of the world?" You said in disbelief. He stayed quiet but nodded. You couldn't help but smile. "You know what Alex I'm really glad I met you." You said looking back at the boy. He smiled before adding on "I'm sorry about making you feel bad it was never my intention to act as though I didn't like like you y'know?"

 "I get it and it's alright I would be distracted by other worldly giant aliens too." You said with a smile. 

At last everything between you and Alex was sorted out. You honestly had never felt happier.
