Laila was just standing beside her friends laughing and joking around I noticed how this alex guy is staring at her it wasn't friendly it was something more something deeper something I only read about.
He liked her no he loved her
How can she not see it?
And again I ask myself why should I care she is just a stubborn girl that I just met today but this bang in my chest what in hell is this feeling
"Marten are you okay?"Greyson interrupted my thoughts looking worried
"Uhh yeah I just drifted away a bit"I lied looking in laila's direction again but she wasn't there,I scanned the gym but didn't find her
"Searching for me"laila said from from behind me,I froze for a second until reality hits me
"Uhhh no why would I do that" l lied rubbing the back of my neck in embarrassment
"Yeah totally"she said obviously not buying it
"So where's your friends?"I asked casually changing the topic
"They said they have something to do before home-time(ps:the time students go home)"she said with a shrug
"Oh shoot I just remembered we have a detention"I said remembering the detention we got this morning
"Shit,I forgot I can't go I have to do the try-outs for the basketball team"She said biting her lower lip nervously

That's so hot the way she bites on her lips got me thinking of some nasty shit
"Marten can I ask for another favor?"laila muttered lookin up at me with her big beautiful eyes
"Yea sure"I answered almost immediately looking down at her
"Can you cover for me just for the first hour,please?"
"Well...... uh okay"The words slipped from my mouth before I could stop them,she looked at me for a second
"Really?"Was the only thing she said with a questionable look on her face
"Sure"I shrugged
Wtf is this girl doing to me I never cover for anyone yet With laila it's different she's different she's not like the rest of the girls she doesn't seek attention she didn't throw herself on me like others do she's different she's unique
"Thank you thank you so much Marten"laila started squealing jumping up and down
And then she did something that Surprised me
She hugged me
She fucking hugged me
Her small hands was tightened around my neck as her face was on my shoulder I just stood there for a couple of seconds before hugging her back her strawberries and vanilla scent hit my nose and I just inhaled them enjoying her scent
She backed away her hands still tightened around my neck her eyes bore into mine and I can swear I saw her eyes glow
She cleared her throat biting her lips nervously "I'm sorry I was taken back by the moment"she said rubbing the back of her neck
I decided to tease her
"Oh really if you want me to hug you so badly just say so kitty"I told her with a wink
"Ugh why do you always ruin the moment"she asked me playfully sighing
I just rolled my eyes chuckling softly
"Keep rolling your eyes maybe you would find your brain back there"she murmured under her breath but loud enough for me to hear
I can't believe a girl is roasting me I never got roasted in my whole life and here comes a stubborn little girl roasting me
"Is that my thanks for covering for you"I said shaking my head in disappointment
She looked at me for a split second before shrugging and sighing again
"I knew you won't let it go easily"
"You owe me"
"Spill the fat beans what do you want"
"So do you remember in the bio class the teacher mentioned something about dissecting a frog and crap I want to share that assignment with you"I said looking down at my shoes rubbing the back of my neck
"That's it??"she said with a questionable look
"Yeah but you will do the dissecting thing and I will do any other crap"I said wishing she doesn't question it further
A smile suddenly spread across her face and a smirk tugged on her lips and now I understand why people get annoyed when I smirk
"Ohhhh look what we have here! Are you scared of the little froggies"she asked with a smug expression before she start laughing
"Humph you're so fuckin' annoying and I am not scared of them they just gross the crap out of me"I stated crossing my hands over my chest what an annoying girl she is
"Y-yeah totally"she said between her laughter after what seems like 5 minutes of her laughing her ass out she straightened up then wiped a tear from her eyes
"Deal"she said before walking away
