Forgotten

"Mother, mother," Sammy called exiting a room.

"Sam!" Sammy look over to see her older sister Alex. "Alex where is mother I can't find her." Sammy's voice was filed with concern and on the bridge of tears.

"Sam mother... mother she's." Alex's voice was filled with sobs and tears. Alex looked down at her little sister. Pulling her into a tight embrace.

"Mother's a forgotten."

Sammy's eyes went wide she didn't know what a forgotten was, but she knew it was bad. Angels she trained with would talk about how family and friends of them were forgotten's and that they would never see them again.

"Is mother...is mother coming back." Sammy's voice laced with tears.

"I'm sorry Sam, but mother is not coming back. Alex's holds onto Sammy while Sammy slowly falls onto her knees Alex doing the same thing with Sammy placing her head onto Alex's chest.

Alex's chest breathing in an unsteady pattern. Sammy sobbing with her eyes drowning in her own tears. Alex crying silently letting her hot tears run down her soft checks slowly running her fingers through Sammy's dark red hair.

"Where is mother? Why is she not coming back? Didn't she love us?" Sammy looked down at that last part not knowing if she wanted the answer."Mother did love us Sam so so much." More hot tears running down Alex's face not knowing how much longer she could act brave and strong for her sister.

"Then where is mother?" Sammy's voice filled with confusion and hurt. "I-I I don't know Sam." Alex's couldn't handle it any more her once silent tears could be heard with each sob. Sammy still had questions, but didn't want to push her sister more even through she was young she still could understand when someone didn't want to talk.

Sammy looked up at her crying sister."Why is she gone?" Sammy knew she shouldn't have ask that question, but she had to know.

"Mother she-she was cast out of heaven." Sammy looked confused but worried."By by God?" "Yes by God?"

One of Alex's hand reached her eyes as she began to rub the tears out. Only to be filled with tears once more. "But but she was an angle. An angel God made. Why would God cast his own creation out of heaven?" Sammy tried to look her sister in her eyes. Alex refusing to let her sister see her cry pulled her into her more so she couldn't look at her. I I don't know Sam I really don't know. Mother was perfect."

Alex held Sammy closers if that was even possible."Fuck God." Any other time Alex would tell her sister to never say anything like that, but now she could only nod in agreement. Neither of them knowing how long they stayed there crying. Sobbing into each other each of there shirts drenched with tears.

"We have to get up." Sammy looked up at her sister confusion in her bright green eyes. "Wh-what?" Alex looking straight forward while answering blankly."We must continue with out mother anymore it's just us now." Sammy looking up at her sister then looks down."Wh-why?"Alex standing up handing her two hands forward to help her sister up.

"Father and now mother is gone we must continue forwards this will not stop us." Yes Alex did love both her parents. When losing her father Alex felt something she never felt  like she would never be happy again and that all her smiles would now all be fake. Sammy was only 2 months when father became a forgotten. Alex was 5 years old. Still very young to lose a parent who's suppose to be by your side through your whole life. Now Sam was 4 and Alex is 9 and now they both have no parents only each other.

"Mother and father are both forgotten's now soon to be brokens when they die living there short mortal lives. We must not follow in there foot steps."Alex's eyes were filled with tears but not yet falling down her face. Unlike Sammy would had silent waterfalls coming from her eyes.

"Would you ever leave me Alex?" Sammy looking scared. "If you ever become a forgotten or a survivor I'll leave heaven and come looking for you in a heartbeat."

That made Sammy show a smile no teeth smile and made her tears slowly come to an end." I would do the same thing to you also in a heartbeat." Sammy sounding excited. Soon the small smile turned into the most seriousness a 4 year old could possibly manage.

"I love you Alex." Sammy said looking up at her sister." I love you too Sam so so much."
