CHAPTER 6: THE CHASE

Sara and Elisae panting down as the sound of their breath could be heard,they barely could stand straight........ I think we've lost them Sara barely completed her sentence when a guard showed as he turned to scream for his colleague, Elisae used her mind shooting an arrow through his head which penetrated through his skull as it pierced out his right eyeball...

Earlier that day .................
Mother I'd like to visit the kingdom Elisae said.....

Feeling reluctant,I think it's a bad idea' you don't want to expose your Identity,mom she's not a kid we will be careful Sara jumped in" Alex you up for some sightseeing;

No, you girls have fun and be careful, am staying with mom.

Noise, clatters and chatters as they entered into the city....

'Elisae was busy looking around;
Hey you look like someone about to do something rash,just don't talk to anyone Sara whispered,as they walked by a man started hitting an old woman, you witch he said give me your wages; this is all I have the old woman pleaded.

Who is that asked Elisae...
I think they are the city tax collector,
So why can't he just collect what she's offering, that woman clearly can't afford more than she's doing....

Whore pay up as he slaps the old woman continuously,

Elisae couldn't stand watching as she flipped....
Her dark side took over her eyes turned as she stretched her hands at the tax collector" he started bleeding through the eyes as he grabbed his neck with his hand while he choked....

A guard passing spotted Elisae in her act as she grinned..

Witch" he yelled .....

What have you done, I told you to do nothing,you just can't control your other side she complained as they ran through the fields with guards now after them.......

Sara was left marveled at what Elisae did,so you don't need a bow to shoot an arrow ....
Yeah I know I'm amazing, let's leave before others get here.......

On getting home,

Why do you two look muffled, Alex asked looking suspiciously

As elisae and Sara looked at each, it's nothing Sara said,
Urhhh we took care of it Elisae jumped in,you've got nothing to worry about..

Like hell am worried; you girls better start talking Alex said now she was in her furious state

We was walking into the market when I saw a man laying hands on an old woman; and I decided to let him bleed,that's when the city guards chased after us and I killed him.

Don't be too fond of yourself did you girls cover your tracks .

Urhhh..... No need for that we were not been followed,

You girls didn't; Alex shouted!

Mom we've got to go, there's no way they aren't on us right now..

I expected better from both you girls, their mom said as she looked to pack up her things

Loud bang as the door goes down

In the name of King Dorian... As the guards declared there presence

Alex looking back at the girls you two take mother and run as fast you can I'll buy you time;

As Sara and Elisae tries escaping through the back"mother interrupted you two should go, I couldn't follow even if I want to I'll slow you down, now run and be safe she said

Alex fought them hard until she saw knife been held to her mother's throat; seeing this she surrendered as they held them both captives.....

Both girls kept running for their life's being pursued as rain continued to pour down now it was more of thunderstorm as lightening keeps flashing across the dark night....

Leaping through a ditch Sara landed badly on her leg as she twisted her ankle as she let out a sharp scream;

Elisae I can't walk, she said....

You have to try, Elisae holding on to her, they'll soon be on us..

I can't Sara repeated
"you should keep running"..... This word sparked something in Elisae......

Moving Sara towards a tree as she rested her back against it; am done running,I just want to go back home' now Elisae voice carried so much pain and rage as she squeezed her fist while the rain poured down on her

She moved towards the direction of the guards as they sighted her thunder struck Elisae as she fell on her knees with her head bowed down.....

Hey I think we've got our work cut out for us one guard said, she should be tired of running another said laughing, just be careful no one takes this much thunder strike and keeps breathing; this couldn't be more of a trap the another guard said ..

The seven guards moved around as they looked to box in Elisae who look lifeless .

Sara looked as they moved closer unable to help,
Then it happened again Elisae started levitating this time her eyes were like that of a God her eyeballs was pure power as it had this white filament color,her body was emitting volts of Sparks as they flew around.....

The guards were unrelenting as they shot arrows simultaneously at her, Elisae held them as the arrows suspended in air as she let open her fist the arrows turned into speck of dust ...Fear gripped the guards; please spare my life one said as Elisae looked down on them with her eyes all white and sparkling....

What am about to do is me sparing your life Elisae said in a cold voice as she stretched her arms lightening flowed through her hands as it bolted into the guards as they all disappeared while there clothes and gears fell to the floor;

Elisae dropped to the ground feeling exhausted;

Hey Queen Bitch, should I be anywhere near you,Sara said sarcastically as Elisae humored back with a slight laugh that was awesome,let me touch you as she laughed out more..

Oh Hell No, don't you dare, I don't wanna be ashed out....

Haha funny even with a broken leg;

Elisae went closer as she held Sara ankle; she took in a deep breath as she released a light energy into Sara's leg..

Wow I feel so much better; tell me is there anything you can't do Sara laughed continuously..

Let's get their gears and cloth; this could be our way in Elisae said, as Sara nods in agreement.....
