Pretty Woman

Prologue

Billy Russo was in his Anvil office when his friend and CFO of Anvil, Frank Castle, came in.

"What can I do for you, brother?" Billy asked finally looking up from his computer.

"You remember Marco? He served with us in the marines." Frank said.

"You mean the guy from California? Yeah I remember him, why you ask?" Billy said getting up from behind his desk to talk to Frank.

"He has a security there and he wanted to see if Anvil was willing to do a partnership." Frank said. Billy thought about for a second. A partnership would bring him more money, not that he needed it, but it would be nice. It could also get the word out on the west coast and maybe draw up some new business.

"You can tell Marco that there will be a partnership. Does he want us to fly out to California or will he come here?" Billy asked, walking back to his desk.

"Since Marco is actually hosting some company events in California next week, he was wondering if we could go out there. He would book us the hotel, flights, everything, we just need to say yes. He sent you an email with the information by the way." Frank said.

"Will Maria and the kids be going with you or just you?" Billy asked.

"Marco is a family man so yeah they're coming so he can see that the faces of Anvil are also family people." Frank said.

"Are you forgetting that I'm not exactly a family man?" Billy said.

"You're my family, Bill. Maria and the kids love you. Besides, I thought you were going out with that homeland security agent. What's her name? Madani." Frank said.

"Yeah well she broke up with me. According to her, I spend too much time in Anvil." Billy said, going over the email that Marco apparently sent.

"You do, brother, sorry. So just accept the deal and we can go to California Thursday night. He's hosting a party Saturday so that gives us time to settle down. He has other events starting Tuesday like business dinners, there's a charity polo game.." Frank said but as soon as he said "polo", Billy looked at him weirdly. "I don't know, man, it's a rich people sport. Anyway, Marco will call you to inform you about the events. I'm gonna go tell Maria you said yes, the kids are going to have so much fun." Frank said and left Billy's office.

Billy started to ask Marco about the details and Billy was incredibly satisfied with his response. Billy is very intrigued by this whole deal, he is definitely going to like being business partners with an old Marine.
