"No, no, no, ew, and hell no." Cassidy rejects all of my clothing choices.

"Cass, I've gotta wear something! You do know that right?"

She laughs. "Yeah, but you can't wear any of those out in public, especially not around me."

Cassidy is my best friend, don't get me wrong, I love her to death, but sometimes I want to kill her. I'm trying to put together an outfit for the concert. Cassidy's dad surprised her with 5 seconds of summer tickets!! We have been huge fans since the band came out, and now we finally get to hear their amazing music in person, I couldn't be more excited. Class and I fight over Luke Hemmings all the time.

"Hey, Kim!" Cassidy calls from behind the rack of clothing. "Try this one on.." She says handing me a gorgeous dress that's not too fancy, but not at all casual. No i lied. It's a little bit too much towards the fancy side. But I don't care.

"It's perfect!!" It truly is perfect.

Cassidy hands me the dress, and I try it on. I look at my reflection in the mirror, and I don't recognize the girl in the beautiful dress. The top is plain black and strapless, and the rest is a sheer light turquoise color that flows down to the floor. It fits me perfectly, with my long blonde hair hitting just past the top of the dress.

I step out of the dressing room to show Cassidy, but she's not there. Just about nobody is, it's just me and a blonde boy whose back is towards me.

"Excuse me," I say shyly while tapping him on the shoulder, "Where has everyone gone?"

The boy turns to face me and stares at me. "I-uh-," he gulps, "um, wow."

He looks oddly familiar, but I push that to the back of my mind.

He clears his throat. "You look absolutely stunning."

I blush. "Thank you, you're very kind."

The affect this stranger out on me is killing me. I'm blushing very hard, I feel my face heat up. He is a very cute guy, and it makes my stomach flutter.

"You're very gorgeous." He compliments me again, making me blush ten times more.

"Thank you, I appreciate it." Great. That doesn't really add up nor make sense. Oh well, I need to find Cassidy. "Have you seen a brunette about two inches taller than me, straight hair, answers to the name of Cassidy?" I ask him.

"Um, no I'm afraid not, but everyone got kicked out of this area," he says with a shy, sympathetic smile. His accent, I recognize it. It's on the tip of my tongue... "Hey, uhm, c-can I have your number..?" He asks me shyly.

That's when it hit me. He's Irish! I have an adopted cousin who is Irish, that's why his voice sounded familiar. "Maybe we can catch a movie or something later?"

I smile. "Yes, I'd like that." I say. He hands me his phone, and I add my contact. "I'm Kim."

"Niall."

"Okay, well Niall, I'm expecting to be contacted by you sometime in the near future, but I have to find my friend." I say with a small smile.

"Alrighty, you'll definitely hear from me." He winks.

I smile and nod, and I turn to go back into the dressing room.

"Kim?" He calls.

"Yeah?" I turn my head back.

"You should get that dress. It looks gorgeous on you."

I smile. "Maybe."

I go back into the changing room and change, bringing the dress out with me when I exit. I wave to Niall and exit the dressing room area to find Cassidy.

When I spot her head, I walk over.

"Hey, sorry, I got caught up." Cassidy absolutely loves shopping. She looks up at me. "And kicked out."

"It's alright."

"How did the dress fit?" She asks me.

"Perfectly." I stare down at the dress. The perfect dress. "I wish I could get it." I say.

That gets her attention. "What? Why can't you?"

I show her the price tag and her eyes bulge out of her head. "Six-hundred dollars?!"

I nod.

"I'm sorry, I didn't look at the price."

"It's alright. Are you ready to go? I think I'll just wear something out of your closet."

"You okay?" she questions me.

"Yeah, just upset about the dress, that's all." I set the dress down on the nearest rack.

"Okay. Can I try a few things on before we leave?"

"Sure." I follow her to the dressing rooms, and sit down on one of the chairs outside.

Cassidy tries on a few things, and comes out of the dressing room with about half of the clothing items she entered with. "I like these, in going to get them."

I nod my head and follow her as she walks to the front to pay. I glance back at where I set the dress, only to see it's gone. I sigh.

"Your total will be $52.11." The lady at the register tells Cassidy.

Cass pays, and we head out to the car.

The same lady who was at the register stops me. "Are you Kim?"

I turn around. "Yeah... I am..." I reply.

She smiles at me. "This must be yours." She hands me a box.

Confused, I protest. "No, I didn't get anything." I hand the box back, but she rejects it.

"Let me rephrase that, this is yours." She says kindly, still containing her smile.

"Um, thanks?" I reply.

Cassidy looks as confused as I am. "What's that?" she asks.

"I have no idea." I reply. "Let's go?"

She nods.

We get to the car, and I avoid talking to to Cassidy all the way home. In not upset, my thoughts are just distracted. Every time I close my eyes I see a cute blonde named Niall. I can't wait for him to text me. I hope he does.

Cass pulls into the driveway of her home.

"Okay. Let's go find you something to wear!" She says excitedly. "Wait." She looks down at the box in my lap. I follow her glance. "You didn't open it?"

"No. It's probably something left over of Nate's." I tell her.

"Nate?"

"Yeah, we used to walk through that section of town and shop." I explain.

"Well, you never know." She looks at me, but I avoid eye contact. "Okay, well if you're not opening it I will." Cassidy pulls the box from my lap to hers, chuckling.

"Cassidy!!" I exclaim, reaching for the box, but she adjusts her back so it is facing me, meaning I can't reach the box. She gasps.

"What is it?" I ask her, trying to catch a glance over her shoulder.

"You'll see for yourself." She closes the lid, wraps the ribbon back around it, and hands it back to me.

I give her a suspicious look, and open the box for myself.

I pick up the piece of paper on top. It reads:

"Don't mention it:)

-Niall"

Underneath the note and tissue paper is the dress. Niall, whom I met only a few minutes ago, bought me a six hundred dollar dress. I can't help but smile.
