Broken Chains

Izuku stared at his paper, feeling sick to his stomach. The room was so quiet that he could hear the clock ticking. He didnt realize how much time passed from just staring at the ground. Aizawa stood in front of his desk,"Midoriya, are you okay?"

Izuku looked up and nodded slowly,"Y-yes, sorry." He looked back down at his paper and rushed through it, trying to finish before time was up.

He felt his stomach churn and his heart rate sped up, it seemed unhumanly. His body started to shake and his veins turned pink. "Whats going on? Im not using my power," Izuku muttered.

Izuku's breathing started to become shorter and the pain became worse. Ochako and Bakugou both looked at him, confused. "Deku, are you okay?" Ochako asked and put her pencil down.

Bakugou ignored Izuku. Izuku couldn't reply to Ochako, he just stared at his paper and his face started to become red.

Iida walked up behind and touched his shoulder,"Izu- Izuku! You're burning up! This temperature should be impossible!" Aizawa looked concerned,"Midoriya-Sama, after the test, please go to the nurses office."

After a few minutes, Aizawa Sensai called for the papers to be turned in. All the students stood up gave the papers to the teacher except Izuku. He had spaced out, distracted by pain. "Midoriya!" He quickly stood up and put his paper on Aizawa's desk.

Izuku looked at his classmates all standing. "Izuku, are you okay?" Kirishima asked. Izuku looked down and grumbled,"Yes! Im fine! Im..." He took a step forward and fainted, his eyes rolling back. "IZUKU!"

A few hours passed

Izuku opened his eyes a little, bright lights blinded him. He assumed he was in the hospital and his classmates were with him so he cried out for Shoto.

When Izuku came to be able to see, he was in a cold room with ice lining the walls. It didnt look like a hospital room, it looked like a cage with glass to see that All Might was talking with a doctor.

"T-Todoroki? Kacchan?!" Izuku began to freak out, not knowing what was going on. Shoto looked through the window and looked shock,"Midoriya's awake!"

Izuku was still pretty much out of it and when he fully came to, he realized the doctors moved him to a regular room.

Shoto was sitting beside Izuku's bed, Tsu was leaning against a wall across from him, and Bakugou was in the doorway.

Izuku shivered,"Why am I so cold?" "The doctors wanted me to monitor you to make sure you didnt heat up again," Shoto told him. He didnt understand.

A doctor came in,"Everything alright?" Shoto nodded. "Doctor, whats going on?" Izuku asked, sitting up.

"Well, Mr. Midoriya.

You got your quirk back."
