Epilogue

Manami's waiting in front of the operation room. Each seconds felt like hour and each seconds broke his heart, he's waiting in his drenched and bloodied clothes.

- earlier right after the crash -
Manami rushed to your side and hugging you close, rain continue to pour harder as his cries. Your crimson blood and rain, mix together, and soaked his clothes. He doesn't care about anything else and plead the unconscious you to wake up. Unfortunately his cries couldn't be heard as your warmth began to fade away. After some time the ambulance came and brought you to the table of operation.

-present time-
How did this happen? How did it go wrong? What did he do for you to deserve this? You were smiling just a moment ago and now you're lying lifelessly and now the doctor are doing their job as he waited for the torture to end. Hours passed and finally the doctor came out and Manami get up that instant and walked to the doctor,
"How's she doc?" Looking at the doctor desperately.
"She's okay for now. She barely makes it but she's safe now. She lost so much blood and she broke some of her bones so she would need some time to heal. She'll be able to leave the hospital in a week or so, depends on her situation. She should wakes up anytime now. You should wait until tommorow to visit her."
Manami sigh of relief and dropped to ground, thanking the doctor. Manami plead the doctor to let him see you and the doctor let him for a few minutes. Manami thanked the doctor and goes to your side, looking at the still pale you with a lot of bandage and a gips on your hand. He sat by your side and held your hand, feeling relief. Your hand flinched and slowly held his hand. He snaps his head up and looked at you, slowly opening your eyes.

You opened your eyes and only to see a white ceiling and antiseptic smell. You looked at the side and see manami, covered dirt and blood and drenched. You chuckled, "You looked ragged... It's my fault isn't it?"
He didn't said anything and you could felt tears falling from his face to your hand.
"Yeah, it's your fault that I'm like this.. Don't you know how worried I am..?!" As he continues to cry.
"I'm sorry, for worrying you..." You smiled. He got up and walk to the door,
"I'll tell the doctor that you're awake." And he left. Soon he came back with a doctor. The doctor said that there's nothing serious and because of your broken bones, the doctor note to refrain from moving too much at least for a month especially the first week. Because it's past midnight, manami went home and after that he visited you everyday after practice and even on weekends. After a week, you got out of hospital with him sending you home by taxi. After you enter the house, it's all dusty.  You had to clean but the broken arm won't let you. But on the bright side, manami helped you in cleaning the house. He even helped you cooked! After dinner, you made tea and decided to answer his confession.
"Uhhm, Manami, it's about your confession..."
He put down his tea and looked at you,
"is it still valid? Are you sure you wanted me? I mean, there are others that's better than me.."
He smiled, his smile is very warm and dazzling. "Of course it's still valid. I don't want anyone other than you. I want you."
With that you smiled back and he kissed you for a long, long time.
