The Boy and The Waterfall: Short Story

The boy ran from his new home looking for a place to explore his mother told him to be back by sundown. The boy ran into the wood exploring and playing pretending to be an angel, a man, the lonely one, the boy who his adopted sister saved and a man who married a witch.

He reached a waterfall and saw many things in the water there was fish he had never seen before he saw something shiny and old he picked it up and it was a necklace once he puts it on. First, he had memories of the people he played before coming here. Then he heard voices from the animals around him warning him to never tell anybody about his abilities.

He had fun all day playing with the animals and swimming along with the fishes he figured out he has powers and his new friends started teaching him how to used them. It started to get dark as the sun went down. He said goodbye to his new friends and ran him using his superspeed but stopped at the edge of the woods as he walked the rest home. His mother smiled in relief as she finished cooking dinner for them. The boy hid his necklace so his mother wouldn't see it. They ate dinner as the boy tells his mother about the adventure he had minus his abilities. The boy wants to bed that night wondering what adventure is waiting for him tomorrow. For the boy and the waterfall.
