Aurelia's week away was highly therapeutic and returning felt more like putting a metaphorical pin in her life there rather than leaving forever. Mathais had gotten letters from both Beauxbatons and Hogwarts, much to his delight, and is busy figuring out where to go. Fleur had moved to England to 'improve her English', but had started becoming very close to a certain long-haired ginger named Bill Weasley. Really, she's accepted that Hogwarts will be her new school in September. She'd gone through the seven steps of grief for her relatively normal life and has come to accept that everything has changed.

Back home in London, she's taking advantage of the nice weather. With Mathais, she takes a picnic into Hyde Park. They find a nice place in the sun to lay out their blanket and unpack their food. There are little boxes of fruit, some little sandwiches and some crisps.

"It's good to have you back," Mathias says with a small smile, taking a raspberry.

Aurelia returns it as she bites into a strawberry. "You know I love being back."

"You're home early this year, did something happen?"

Her smiles falters slightly but it's back on her face within a second. "A Tournament ended badly... it's a long story, but you remember the Tournament Fleur entered into?" Mathias nods. "Well, there was an issue with the Portkey at the end of the Third Task. It was supposed to take the winner to the front of the maze, but a Death Eater messed with it and instead it took them somewhere else. And you know how I ended up going somewhere other than Beauxbatons?" Mathias nods again, they'd spoken briefly about it. "I ended up in the same place as the Champions."

"So what happened?" Mathias asks.

"It's complicated, but you remember how I told you about Lord Voldemort?"

"Your dad?" Aurelia has to repress a wince.

"Yeah. Essentially, he's back," she explains.

"But the Daily Prophet—" Mathais begins.

Aurelia lets out a derisive snort. "We need to get you subscribed to the Nouvelles Magiques de France. They report things the way they actually are." She takes a breath and another strawberry. "I saw it," she confesses quietly after a minute. "Voldemort is back. Whether or not the British Ministry wants to believe it, it's true."

"What does that mean for you?" he asks, his eyes wide.

Aurelia looks towards the clouds. "I'm not sure yet." She throws a raspberry into her mouth. "At the very least... I will have to be very careful. I think, and I don't want this to influence your decision, I will be moving to Hogwarts for my Fifth Year."

"You'll be moving?" he repeats, his face falling. "But you like being at Beauxbatons!"

"It's not about what I like right now, Matty," she admits, laying back on the blanket. "It will be safer there, at the very least. Voldemort is scared of Albus Dumbledore and if it will keep him away from me, I am content in making that decision."
