New Experiences Pt 27

Y/N's POV: 

I don’t know why I was freaking out so much. His family is so… functional. LOL. They are so sweet and kind and loving. They’ve made us feel like part of the family every moment weve been here. The Mendes' asked if they could take Anna to the movies the next day. Shawn said that Karen and Aaliyah want to take her shopping and give us some time to be alone together.

"I know what its like to struggle to keep the connection when you have a child (or two)" Karen told me. "Shawn just cant stop talking about you both. Every time Ive talked to him, he updates me on how you two are doing, even if hes not actually been with you. Its so sweet."

"Yeah. Its so obvious that he is completely in love with you. I have never seen him like this before." Aaliyah said. "You make him so happy. Thanks for being so good to my big brother. I know it cant be easy with his lifestyle and everything."

"Yeah. Its stressful, but I really care about him. I wouldn’t know if hes in love with me… he hasn’t mentioned it. " I blushed and giggled nervously. "Anna absolutely loves him. He is so protective of her. He refuses to let her be photographed by paparazzi, when he is around, at least. Its much harder for us to avoid them when he and his security arent around though." I tell his mom and sister. I cant tell his family that I love him before I tell him that.

"Have you ever thought about moving up here or do you want to stay in Florida?" Karen asked.
"I mean, its crossed my mind here and there, but Shawn hasnt brought it up or anything. I'd definitely consider it. The only thing that would make me not do it is that my parents and my best friend are in FL. You know?" I replied.

"Yeah. That makes sense. I only ask because we would absolutely help out with making sure you and Anna are protected at all times. So just know that it's an option, love." Karen told me.

"Thank you, Karen. Thank you all for being so welcoming. It means the world to me and Anna. We were both so nervous." I told them.

"Aww. We love you guys already. She is absolutely beautiful, btw, Y/N. You make pretty kids." Aaliyah said and winked at her mom just as Shawn and Manny walked back in the room.

"She does make pretty kids. Maybe she will make one with me some day." Shawn said and my eyes widen and I am pretty sure he could see that I was freaked out by what he said.
