WOOMP
I wasn't quite sure if I had tripped over some poor can frozen to the sidewalk or if I had a slipped on a patch of ice. Either way, I was in a snow drift. A few feet away, my keytar's case had also landed and sunk into a pile of snow.
I was on my back and just staring up into the soft blue sky. I could feel snow melting under me and slowly seeping it's way through my clothing. There I lay, letting myself be subject to being soaked by the fresh snow. I was contemplating getting up or just staying when I heard a voice, "Oh! Are you okay?!"
I saw her before my mind buffered and was able to be a regular person. She was an angel. A female with golden hair that looked like rays of sunshine.
She leaned over me, blocking my view up. The periwinkle color of the sky compliment her eyes so much they looked like they were little bits of it. I didn't even hear her question, I was too enraptured in her beauty. Gosh, I was so fricking gay in this single moment. "Hello, are you okay?"
Her voice rung like a sound of distant church bells. I blinked and processed her words before responding.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I finally breathed out, somehow struggling up and brushing off the snow.
She smiled and it was instantly contagious, making me smile. "You look like you need to warm up. There's a cafe just on the corner, if you aren't busy."
I nodded, hearing her, but having a lack of words coming to my mouth. She got the message and grabbed my arm, leading me. I let myself be pulled by her into a cafe. Once we arrived at the quaint cafe, I promptly plopped heavy my case down and ordered a hot tea.
I payed and sat down with the nice woman. After a moment of slipping burning hot leaf water while trying to think and also forcing myself not to react to the heat as to not look weak, I came up with one of the most basic sentences known to man. "May I ask your name?"
"Leena Peisa, and you?"
"Y/N, pleasure to meet you."
I took a sip of my tea and Leena sipped her drink. "What are you transporting," she pointed towards my case.
"Oh, it's my synth!"
"Synthesizer?"
"Yeah."
"That's cool! I play piano and synth too! I would love to hear you play."I smiled, blushing a little, "I'm not a good player. I mean, I never have been. I was a (instrument) player."
"I bet you're a fine player,"
"I would like to hear your stuff too!" God, could I be anymore anxious and stupid!?She giggled at my blaitiness and smiled, "Well, I've been in some bands. I'll give you my number so we can talk more!"
"Sure!" Okay wow, not so loud, Y/N.
We had traded emails and phone numbers. After a little more small talk and talking some more about music, we finished our drinks and left our separate ways, I had to get home and do fricking stuff. Tsk, tsk, myself. Tsk, tsk.
