Back In Time

Chapter Two

Hope's POV

10:00 pm

I was walking shivering and have been walking for two hours. I feet started feeling numb but I keep treking on.

12:00 am

It was dark and dinge where I was but I kinda recognized where I was so I knew I was close to UA.

2:00 am

I was tired, cold, and numb. I was shivering down the street when I made it to UA. I looked up at the build in front of me. I thanked any good I could think of and sat down near the fence and closed my eyes. I felt myself drift off to a very well deserved sleep.

(Time-skip)

I felt sunlight hit my face, I rubbed and stretch. I stood up when heard a "Who are you?" come from behind me. I turn around to see what looked, gramps. "Gramps?" I whisper to myself looking the taller male with black hair in front of me. "What was that?" he asked. I snap out of confused state "Oh um uh I n-nothing" I stutter out. "Okay, so who are?" He asked me raising an eyebrow. "Hope" I answered shortly nervously. "Any last name?" the man asked looking bored. "I can't tell you," I say quickly. "Okay, then you'll have to leave-" "Wait! I'll tell you but have to trust me" I say. "But I can't tell you"

"So you're telling me that you're the child of Bakugou and Hara?" gramps asked me slightly confused. "Yes, I am," I say worriedly. Gramps nodded "Okay, stay in my office I'll come to get you later," he told me and standing up. I nodded as gramps left. Well, now I'm in the waiting game.

 (Time-skip to after class)

I was reading a book, humming to myself flipping through the pages. Gramps walked into the room looking stressed: "Okay, c'mon" he said giving me the said sign to get up. I got up and put the book down "Where am I going?" I ask nervously. "To meet your parents" gramps answered in a matter-of-fact tone. My heart stopped, I felt an overwhelming amount of worry fill me. 

I nodded keep silent the entire walk to the dorms. When we got to the dorms my body starts shaking uncontrollably. Gramps opened the door and let m, as soon I walked all eyes were on me. I looked down slightly when I spotted some familiar. I look when saw him, "Dad!" I exclaim run to him hugging him tightly. "Wha- get the fuck off me!" He said shoving me off onto the floor. "Katsuki!" "Kacchan!" "Bakugou!" voices yell out at dad. I looked up at him feeling my heart clench. "Dad I-" I start before I was cut off "I'm not dad!" He yells at me. I stand and shout "Yes you are!" making him scoff rolling his eyes. "Yeah, and pigs fly. Get the fuck out of here!" Dad shoots back. "Why don't you believe?!" I shout at him tears pricking the edges of my eyes.

"Why would I?! You could be lying?!" He argued back. "WHY WOULD I LIE TO YOU DAD?!" my voice raised in anger. "I AM NOT YOUR DAD!!!" his voice raised as well. My world stop, I felt my tears roll down my face. "Bakugou" I say in a small voice "Why would I lie to my idol. To a man who becomes one greatest of heroes in the world. Who showed me my destructive quirk could help people" I stop talking making small explosions in my hand. "Tell me why would I lie?" I ask looking up at my dad. "If you don't believe I'll leave and never see you again," I tell say calmly. My father was silent and didn't say anything which gave me a sign to leave.

I started to walk away, my eyes well up and I bite lip holding in a sob. I felt someone turn me around and hug me. "I believe you. I'm sorry sunshine" Dad said hugging tightly. I gasp and hugged him back "What changed your mind?" I ask him curiously. "I can relate to your story on why you want to be a hero and any child of mine would definitely argue with their parents," dad tells me patting my head. 

I smile at him this was my father. I had no doubt about it.
