Layla’s POV:

We were playing this weird game, 7 minutes of heaven. It was Louis idea which explains a lot! The bottle spun and landed on Niall who ran upstairs into his spare room, i watched him as he ran feeling the loneliness of my hand. Then they spun the bottle again it landed on me this time... oh no! Niall and me had already kissed earlier and i struggled to stay calm, now what was going to happen? I walked up the stairs and into the room to see him sat on the bed, i bit my lip nervously.

“hey,” i smiled at Niall trying to stay calm.

“hi!” he smiled back patting a space on the bed next to him. I went and sat down, i couldn’t help it i grabbed his hand. He interlocked our fingers, it was like the perfect fit.

“Niall i have to say something?” i said trying to continue what i was going to tell him earlier.

“Yes Layla?” he smiled at me. My hearted melted at that lovely smile, God this is going to be hard!

“I like you!” i rushed quickly. He looked straight at me, had he understood?

“I like you too!” he smiled adding a little laugh.

“I don’t think you understand,” i said biting my lip, he looked at me a bit confused. “I really like you Niall... i love you in fact. But it’s okay because you don’t like me in that way!” he looked at me shocked and opened his mouth to speak. “Don’t say anything, you like me but not in that way. I’m a nice girl but you’re just not the right one for me... it’s okay i get it!”

“Layla listen to me before you jump to conclusions!” he said, i looked up at him kind of shocked.

“I...” he said but Louis burst through the door followed by Harry.

“Layla I'm disappointed in you!” Harry said, “You had this sex god for 7 minutes and all you done was talk?” he tried to be serious putting his arm around Niall, but then he looked at Louis and burst out laughing. The idiots, i really want to know what Niall was going to say... it’ll have to wait now!

Liam’s POV:

The boys come back downstairs laughing followed by Layla. I decided I'd had enough of this stupid game!

“Guys, I'm going outside for a bit of air.” I said before kissing Becky’s cheek and leaving. I really love her, Becky i mean, she’s perfect and so kind! I sat on the bench looking up at the stars it really was a beautiful night. It was like the stars were dancing, kind of like the butterflies i get in my tummy when me and Becky kissed. I heard the back doors open and then close, i looked over to see Niall with a tear rolling from his eye.

“What’s wrong Niall?” i asked hoping he was okay. He came and sat down on the bench next to me, leaning back closing his eyes.

“i love her Liam, i honestly do but i can’t tell her! Every time i go to the words come out a mess and i can’t say it. I mean she did and i could tell how hard it was for her but i just can’t! I don’t want to mess up Liam! I don’t want to be the next guy who breaks her heart!” he sobbed. I’d never seen Niall this worked up about a girl before, then again Niall hadn’t like many girls. i gave him a hug,

“Niall mate, you won’t mess it up. You really love her, all us boys know that you talk non-stop about her! Trust me you won’t break her heart, she loves you to ask Louis if you don’t believe me!” i tried my best to cheer him it, it was hard though seeing your best mate in a mess.

“Thank you Liam!” he smiled giving me a quick hug and wiping away the tears from his eyes.

“Now go on you can do this Niall!” i urged him on. I got up with him, so we could both go in. Walking in i saw all the guys and their girls on the sofas talking. Layla and Becky were sat on the floor talking, aw it’s so nice that they get on!

“Hey babe,” i smiled sitting next to Becky and giving her a kiss on the cheek.

“Liam i have to go!” Becky said quickly.

“Why?” i asked her shocked.

“your mum just phoned me, there’s no one to watch Lexi so i offered to!” she said. Aw, that’s so sweet! Lexi was my little sister, she’s 14 but last week she and Matt was in an accident in Matt’s mums car and Lexi had broke her leg. She was now so scared of being alone, and it was hard for her getting around on crutches.

“i’ll come to,” i offered. “she is my sister after all!” Becky smiled. We said our goodbyes and i drove over to my mum chatting happily with Becky.
