I was stuck. I knew if I said no the popular kids would hate me and my best friend... She would hate me. If I said yes, then I could be in danger.
"Sure," I sighed as I took a cigerett out of the pack. My best friend Amber lit it. I put the cigerett to my mouth and inhaled it deeply. I coughed and hacked as the smoke reached my lunges.
"Oh here Prim," said Amber. "Wash it down with this."
I took the liquid and drank it, it felt hot and spicy going down. I loved it.
"If you think thats good try this," said Jeff who was sitting behind me.
I took the beer bottle and drank the whole thing. It wasn't spicy like the one before but it felt cool and smooth going down my throat.
"I think I'm ready for another puff of that cigerett," I said as I put the ciggerett back up to my lips and inhaled deeply again, this time it didn't hurt as much.
"Oh do you know what's great about those ciggeretts?" said Amber.
"What?" I asked.
"Well first of all there homeade and the stuff you're smoking is marrowana!" Amber exclaimed
"Alright!" Jeff said as he highfived Amber.
"Marowana?" I coughed "Isn't that like a drug?"
"Well duh!" said Jeff.
"Well then we shouldn't even touch it!" I said as I set my ciggerett down.
"C'mon Prim, it's fun," Amber said
"Don't you wanna fit in?" Jeff added
"It's cool!" Amber continued
"Do it!" they both screamed
"Well I don't know," I shrugged.
"C'mon Prim, my family grows this and smokes this all the time! It's no big deal!" said Amber.
"Well ok," I cheerfuly said. "Hey Jeff, toss me another beer!"
"Alright girl, join the club," Jeff said as he highfived me and Amber
I smiled as I happily drank my beer. and this was just me as a kid. I had no Idea on how I would be as a teen. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
