It was late into the day when Angel woke with a lack of breathe when he shot upright on his bed. Cradling his face in his hands as he replayed his dream. Tears start to fall in slow rhythm as he looked over to see the fat nugget was still asleep. He didn't know what was going on anymore. All he could remember was someone over him as their last words rang inside of his head before he woke up.

"You were never good enough."

Were these his memories? Who was that? Why was he remembering them now?

The Next Morning

Angel noticed that Alastor and Charlie had been keeping an eye on him since he passed out a few days ago. He could see the worried looks when he would complain about a headache and retire to his room. He would go through memories that he never had before causing him headaches before they finally calm down and he would leave his room again.

Charlie mentioned that she was waiting for someone to arrive today. A performer of some type for her father's arrival party the day after tomorrow night. However, the person Charlie was waiting for was someone Angel didn't expect.

She was a short but chubby woman, her short but blonde hair making her stand out from the crowd of demons in the lobby. But what was most noticeable about her was that she instantly wandered up to Alastor linking her arms with his.

Angel couldn't help the feelings that rushed to his face, his eyes narrowing on the short woman as he found his arms crossing against his body. He didn't know why but he instantly dislikes the woman, more so when he saw that Alastor didn't mind the shorter woman practically hanging off him. Without much thought, he decided to leave the lobby in favor of new scenery. He found himself on the roof of the hotel, it overviews the hotel courtyard where he still saw the pair. He watched as the woman laughed happily at something Alastor had said before she clung to him even more. She made Angel want to gag, but at the same time, she seemed familiar. Especially her eyes as though he has seen them many times before.

He decided he had enough of looking at them before he decided to turn around his back toward the courtyard as he leaned against the bar. Unaware the Alastor had noticed him up there.

"Al?" Mimzy spoke as she noticed she had lost his attention. He was looking up, following his gaze she saw Angel with his back turned to them leaning against the roof safeguards.

She bit back the glare as she spoke cheerily "Is that Angel? I haven't seen him in years! Do you think he would still remember me, Al?" This instantly grabbing Alastor attention as he looked at her. His smile widened as he spoke "Why. My dear, that sounds like a fantastic idea. Why don't you go chat with him as I go find Charlie letting her know of your arrival?" He couldn't help the thought maybe a familiar face would help Angel remember him!

Mimzy just smiled back at him, nodding in agreement. She watched as Alastor left her before she bought her glaze on Angel disappearing figure on the roof. She spoke to herself softly almost a whisper her sharp teeth working into a wicked grin. "Oh, Angel. How nice it is to see you again.~"

She wanders the hotel for a bit of time before she found Angel just before he caught the elevator. She instantly called out to him. "Angel dear!"

This caused Angel to stop in his step as he turned around in confusion before focusing on her, she smiled at him as she jogged up to him. "It's been too long! How come you don't visit me anymore doll?" she said when she reaches him bringing him to a small hug. Angel didn't say anything nor hugged the woman back but gave her a confused look, she smiled to herself at Angel reaction.

She gave him a short gasp before she said pointing at her speaking, "Mimzy. You remember me right? I know Al, must have said something about me~." She purposely let her words sink in Angel, noticing the big differences in his body postures. His body tensed up as he slowly nodded, as though he knew but she knew otherwise. She grinned as she continued, "It okay dear, I forgive you! I know Al has been so busy to come to see me like he used to. Oh, where did our good old days go."

She faked a bit of tear as she waited for Angel to react to her. Angel slightly panicked he was never good with a crying woman, he held his hand up in defense as his other hand ran through his hair. She looked up with a wide smile and said "Gotcha, Don't worry I know he didn't forget about me!"

Before Angel could say anything else, Alastor had appeared. He was walking toward them with a smile. Angel heard himself gave a nervous laugh as Alastor finally reached them. "Angel. I see Mimzy found you." Alastor greeted before he turned to the short demon, "Mimzy dear, Charlie is waiting for you in her office. Let me take you there."

Mimzy nodded as she waited for Alastor to stick out his arm for her to take. Mimzy turned to Angel with a smile and said "It was nice seeing you again Angel! I hope to see you at the show!". Angel replied with a nod as he watched them leave.

Angel found himself walking back to his room, opening the door to see Cherri on his bed playing with fat nuggets. She looked up and greeted him with a wide smile before she said "I got the dirt~"

A/N- For those who are extremely curious. A very severe beating can cause a trauma which leads to temporary memory loss. Most common it depends on the person whether or not how long that memory loss lasts. It is also common that situations similar to the cause of the trauma the first time can cause unwilling memory to regain and in some cases memory replacement.
