William Lim, as we know him, or Aarón Damián Ezequiel Félix Escárcega as his friends and family know him, has come under fire for the role he played in André's teaser film for their subunit debut.
William played the role of who we believe to be called "Aurélien" or the man in the video that hit André, multiple times.
However, that's not the only reason people are mad, they say it's because "he's ruining the image of Mexicans and mixed people around the world, it's horrible and disgraceful."
However, William has come out with a small statement on the issue, please read it below.
"I've heard your complaints, and I'm sorry you feel that way, but you must remember that is no more than a role played by a man who would never hurt André in real life, I didn't even hit him in the teaser film, it merely showed my hand/fist close to him before the screen went black and sound effects were played. As for the "giving a bad image to Mexicans and mixed people" firstly, I am not Mexican, I'm Chilean, secondly if anyone believes that because of a video they saw on the internet of two people acting, that all mixed people or people of Spanish decent are abusive, there is something wrong with them and they should get help.
