Flashbacks

Jade's POV

"No mama! No!" I sobbed "Don't leave me." she had promised she would never leave me but now she was she was dying. "Please mama! Please...." I said tears falling down my face, she stroked my cheek wiping away my tears, "I Love you my darling." she said "I will always be watching you from heaven, and you Will see me again someday, I promise."

"But you promised you wouldn't leave, and you are!" I cried "No, I will never leave you just won't see me." "I Love you mommy" I said "I Love you too jade" mom smiled, and then she was gone,I cried a long time after, but then the wolves found me. At first I thought they were going to eat me but they didn't. I know that my mom was there and she spoke to the wolves, so instead of eating me they took me in and I became a wolf.

I trained, played, and hunted with my wolf brothers and sisters, I became more animal then human. On one of my hunts I found Gunn.

Gunn's POV

I was a gypsy and I lived with my parents in our gypsy band, we roamed the land puting on shows to get money and if no money was coming in no problem, me and my friends were excelent pickpockets. One day I got separated from my band, and I was quite unaware of the danger until it literally leaped out at me taking me to the ground,

and that is how I met Jade.

With a flying leap she took me off my horse and landed on top of me, there was a sort of terrifying beauty about her, and I really didn't want to be eaten so in a very calm voice I said "calm down girl, calm down it's ok I won't hurt you'' (in my travels I have learned that animals are usually just as afraid of you as you are of them, if not more.) Soothed by my voice she got off and looked at me, we stared at each other for a long time then she poked me, "What was that for?" I asked rubing my leg, her nails were sharp! She looked at me and started to cry, "Oh no, I'm sorry please don't cry." I said, "N-no its not you. I've just forgotten what it's like to be...human, I just had to make sure you were real." She started crying again I wasn't sure what to do but then I remembered that when I was sad my mom would hug and comfort me,so I hugged her whispering soothing things to her. After that she decided to come with me. She said good bye to her wolf family, I helped her onto my horse and hopped up behind her. My horse, Franz, was a bit scared of Jade at first because she smelled like a wolf but I calmed him down pretty fast, after that we were on our way. One night as we were settling down to sleep we heard commotion coming from the bushes to our left, we heard voices yelling and crying. We leapt though the shrubbery and tackled the two men in front of us, and that is how we rescued Hattie.

Hattie's POV

Everyone was dead. I was the only one left. But then they came and took me away. I never saw my home again. I used to live in a beautiful little town with sweet little cottages, and lovely flower beds we even had a pond with sweet little ducks and fish, but then men in black rubber suites and gas masks came they burned my town to the ground killing everyone, except me, for some reason they kidnaped me. I don't know why, but it was awfull first my family and home were destroyed, then I was abducted and tied to a horse and forced to stumble along behind it for days without food, Atleast they gave me water. One night I collapsed and refused to go any farther. As they were yelling at me to "Get up you lazy freak!" Two kids burst through the bushes and attacked the men. The girl was wild looking with black hair and claws, I would have very frightened if not for the boy. Dispite looking travel worn and being in the company of the terrifying girl, he looked...kind. The two of them took down the men and rescued me. The boy came forward and held out his hand, helping me up. "Hi" he said "My name is Gunn and that" he gustered to the girl "Is Jade" I gulped "I-i'm-I'm Hattie" And that is how I met Gunn and Jade.
