*On Hold*
Katherine and her friends are one day pulled from class and thrown into the world of government agencies, gangs, mafias and guns, all because of an old friend. Little do her friends know, Kat was already kinda in it.
As soon as he gives the all clear on the phone, I break down into Chase's arms.

Chase
I carry Kat to the white lambo since I will be driving it home because she's passed out. I told everyone we would discuss in the morning, so that we all could digest what we saw and heard. When Katherine told us about Ethan, she mentioned E was her nickname for him. And that she hasn't called him that since his betrayal til tonight. I honestly didn't expect what happened to happen. I think when Kat saw his reaction to her fake panic attack, she remembered the old Ethan which caused her to lower her guard. I wasn't surprised about her passing out from crying after the encounter though. Katherine hadn't seen Ethan in like 4 years and I think all the information she learned in the past 24 hours with that just was to much. When she wakes up in the morning well discuss our next steps.

Katherine
Ugh, my head. I sit up and notice that I am in my room. I am wearing pajamas that Chase must have put me in when we got home. I turn to look at the clock and notice that it's 6:00am. I get out of bed and head to the bathroom and I wish I didn't look in the mirror my eyes are red and puffy from all my crying and my hair is a mess. I strip my clothes off and take a warm shower to wake me up and help me look less tragic. I get out, wrapping a fluffy white towel around me and head into the closet.

I get dressed and quickly go back into the bathroom to brush my teeth, put some foundation on, blow dry my hair and do my hair. I go downstairs and into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee to prepare me for the long day. After I get my full cup of coffee I bring it into the living room to find all the girls.
"Hey Kat, you doing better?" asks Lexa.
"Yeah, thanks. You too Ari."
"Were you not feeling good yesterday?" Asks Davina.
"No, I was fine. Just very emotional after seeing Ethan."
They nod in an understanding way but they don't get it. They weren't there. Seeing him, hearing his voice again, I was preparing myself for all that before I went, but that preparing all went out the window. I think with just seeing him again and no more than 24 hours earlier I learn he's the leader of a gang rebellion, was just too much for me at the time.
"The party has arrived!!!" Zack shouts coming in with the rest of the boys.
Chase comes and sits next to me in the love seat, stealing my coffee cup for a sip then giving it back. I roll my eyes at his behavior. The boys join us on the couches.
"Are you feeling better this morning Kat?" Nick asks.
"Yes." I say, as I lift my legs and set them on Chase's lap. He gives me a 'really' look but keeps them there.
"So, what exactly happened last night that freaked K out?" Chris asks.
"Nothing freaked me out, it was just my emotions skyrocketing due to seeing Ethan after 4 years."
"Ethan basically asked Katherine to join him in world domination." Zack states.
Davina, Riley, Devin and Cole's eyes all snap to me.
"He didn't say world domination Zack, he said he want to take down all government agencies, gangs, mafias and anyone who stands in his way- ok it's world domination." I say.
"He asked Kat where you guys were and she said you didn't want to come. Then he forgot all about you guys and focused on Kat joining his quest of world domination." explains Chase.
"And how is she here right now? Wouldn't he have taken K with him?" Asked Davina.
"No, I faked a panic attack which sent him into comfort mode and then was notified Chase and the rest were there. Though if I was there by myself any longer, I probably would have had an actual panic attack."
Devin then asks, "so what do we do now?"
"Um, basically just keep training and chilling until we get an update." Lexa says.
Ping.
I pull out the phone Ethan gave me to find a new text notification. I make contact with Chase without trying to let everyone else know what going on. At least not yet. I stand up grabbing Chase's hand and heading to his office saying,
"Ok, well I have to talk to Chase. Talk to you guys later!"
As soon as we get to his office, I close the doors.
"So what was that? I am guessing that you didn't bring me in here to get away from them. Did Ethan send you a text? And what's with the new phone?" Chase questions me.
I roll my eyes. "No it's not a new phone. Before he left, Ethan gave it to me saying he would contact me through it."
"Oh, well what does it say?"
I look at the phone and read the message.
How's the safe house they put you in?Anyways just wanted to make sure you were alright. Text me back if you get the chance. -E
"Should I respond?"
"Yeah, I mean, what harm will it do?"
I respond.
I'm okay. -K
Damn. Even just texting him is emotionally draining.
Ping.
Good. Now, do you accept my offer? -E
I show Chase the text and then looks at me and says,
"It's ultimately up to you but, you can say no and we will figure out a plan or you can say yes and be undercover. Whatever you decide I will support."
I contemplate for a minute and then decide.
"I'll say yes."
