{Chapter 2}

As soon as they arrived at the school and walked through the hall they both heard something fall in the store room, they paused for a second then raced towards the noise, when the got to the store room no one was there.

then she heard footsteps on the stairs and they sounded like elephants, grace bolted towards the stairs and screamed "HELLO?!" She heard a faint noise, like a gasp, then heard the elephant steps coming down stairs again, in that moment she was extremely nervous so they hid behind the stairs and a small boy trotted down, searching for someone, Grace realised him, IT WAS HER BROTHER!!! "Wil?" Grace said very surprised "Grace!" Wil ran towards her and gave her and Max a tight hug.

Wil was about halfway through asking about their mum and dad but Grace just shook her head and walked home without one word, when they got home they both sat on the couch and ate the leftovers Grace had yesterday, Wil cried himself to sleep and Grace cries as well.

The next morning they woke up really tired and sad, it had started raining heavily, it rained all day, so they did nothing all day, it was complete silence, until Wil said " where are they, how come it is just you and me... and Max?" Grace did not answer but gave him a series of looks that told him that she didn't know and she wanted to go back to sleep so the did.
