November 6th, XXXX, 06:45
The owner had called all of the survivors and hunters to a new room. It was a dining room, but large enough to fit all of the current members of this now eternal 'game'. He announced that he would still invite players to the 'game', but only the ones who needed it most. Heaven knows what that means. Now we are being kept until he decides to release the winners of the torture we have endured so far. The hunters and us survivors are no longer being kept apart by the large wooden doors that lead to the room, but we are now forced to keep peace with each other. Everyone else seems to feel... happy... with his plan. I am still uncertain.. however- I'm going to feel around. I will talk to Emily today and see if she can cheer me up. I may ask her to accompany me to the manor gardens. They're quite lovely in the winter months. Even though- in wherever we are- the snow starts earlier in the month of October and the hours of light get cut short like strands of hair.

Emma reluctantly put down her pen and closed her leather diary. She pushed out the chair from her tight desk area and stretched her arms. It seemed useless to continue on with the constant rules of the manor, seeing as how punishment for not obliging to them would be better. It had been months since the original players had joined, and the news had been received by all players, old and new, that any lives that they had had in the normal 'world' were now forgotten, leaving it useless to win the game and leave anyways. Besides, the owner was allowing them shelter, clothes, food, and the basic needs of their normal life with the mere cost of playing the game. Players rarely got seriously injured, both Hunters and Survivors received free healthcare as well. No one has died either- but even if someone did they had the necessary people to take care of that.

The gardener was yanked back into reality by the alarming sound of a crash. She pressed her side against the large wooden door. The sound was definitely a crash, but distant enough that she could safely exit. Emma hurriedly exited her room, slamming the door behind her, and tried as carefully as possible to run down the rotting staircase. She finally caught her breath and turned to the open the giant engraved doors to the shared dining room, and cautiously slipped inside.

"LIAM GET OFF OF THE TABLE-" Michiko screamed. Emma stared in disbelief, watching her teammates and acquaintances flock about the dining room in organized chaos.

The dining room was overall as peaceful as possible, with the exception of loud chatting and conversations- well, and Liam screaming on the table. Everyone was engaged in small talk and laughter filled the room. Emma was the last to join everyone for breakfast.

"Li- Pardon- Emma! Whatever has kept you?" Emily joyfully stood up and strode up to the shorter woman.

"Emily! Excuse my absence everyone, I was quite busy. I had to write an entry in my journal, and I had woken up rather late beforehand." Emma explained warily as the doctor lead her to their seats. The room was brimming with voices.

"Oh it's quite alright, here, I saved a plate for you," Emily motioned to the full plate of food in front of her friend. "I know you're always in such a hurry to tend to the garden and check in on everyone else that you often forget to eat."

"Ah! How thoughtful- thank you Emily!" The brunette chirped and instantly began to eat. After a few bites of bread she wiped her mouth and tilted an eye. "Now, I was so excited about food I nearly forgot- what exactly is the status on our matches?" Kevin hummed and grabbed a biscuit.

"You can calm your horses about that there, ma'am." He took a bite of the biscuit and spoke again. "Thff fwn-nrr cawllf anf- swwwwwrf thf we-" Michiko smacked his arm and he swallowed loudly. "Ow! You lucky you ain't a man!" The table erupted in laughter.
