Y/n POV

Time has changed. 4 months past and I'm trying to fix the recorder. Luckily that stupid hag didnt destroy the memory chip. With s blueprint and materials, I can make a new recorder much better than the other one, a bit tougher. With my room.... well it has a bed now and some other crap kids like. The only useful thing is the computer which cam help me download prints of recorders. I hear the door open to see Raven... the bitch who broke my recorder of my mom.

Raven: hi sword

That dumbass nickname she gave me since of the dumb sword mark on my back. It always irritated me to the limit but still got to stay low until I get to a huntsmen academy.

Y/n: *coldly* what?

Raven: well the gang is going to the movie theater to watch something and was wondering if you are wanting to join

Y/n: I'm busy

Raven: with what?

Y/n: my buissnes not yours.

Raven POV

I sigh knowing I'm not going to get to him at all. I close the door walking down the stairs. The group looks at me but summer talks first.

Summer: so what did he say? Is he gonna come?

Raven: *sigh* sorry Sum, he won't budge.

Tai: this is taking longer than I thought. I just want him to see we love him. What is he doing anyway?

Raven: dont know just said he was busy.

Summer: well then I'm going to look at his project.

Summer walks upstairs leaving us.

Qrow: guess we can wait outside then?

Ruby: I want big brother to come with us.

Tai: he will I promise sweetheart.

Summer POV

I walk up the stairs to see Y/n and hopefully convince him to join us. I was about to knock until hi heard a voice.... a womans voice.

Woman: so sweetie how is being a kid feel? Well let me tell you that being a kid rules. Having fun with friends and be able to do fun stuff like video games. Y/n you are special your own way. Don't let anyone get you down. Be br-br-bra-bra-bra.....

Y/n: DAMMIT!

I hear y/n scream and I open it to see him with some sort of contraption.

Y/n: *coldly* what?!

Summer: well I just wanted to ask you to come join us in the movies and get some ice cream.

Y/n: busy

Summer: with that little thing

Y/n: it's my mom.

Summer: that doesn't sound like me hon-

Y/n: my 'real' mom.

My eyes widen from that. It hurt to hear him not say I'm his mother .

Summer: w-well maybe I c-can help.

Y/n: I can do it on my own like I always had.

Then I spilled some water on the table short circating the memory unit

Summer: what is it?

Y/n: get out!

Summer: w-what

Y/n: Leave!

Summer: honey please. I can help you.

Y/n: GET OUT SUMMER

Summer was shocked to hear Y/n say her name instead of mom.

Summer: sw-sweetie... I'm mo-

Y/n: you are not my mother. My mother was on that recorder filling me with the strength to keep my sanity in this god forsaken place. Now leave me alone you witch.

Summer had tears in her eyes and just walked out leaving Y/n alone with the contraption. Then a voice was heard from the contraption

Mom: now Y/n, the true way of being a huntsmen is to show no fear, and to keep his or hers emotions in check. If you ever get blinded by rage you can lose a limp. But I dont need to worry about that, you are a strong man. I love you son. Mommy mi-mi-mi-mi-*stops*

Luckily the contraption is working but still needs some work to be done with it. Y/n was determined, and he will get it done.
