I sighed roughly looking up at my Dad. He was much taller than me. Even though I'm Deer kin. We were supposed to be one of the tallest races. Not me. I was smaller than everyone I've ever known. Even my little brother it bigger than me. "Why are we moving to predictor territory?" I mummbled, picking up my bag with a grunt. My dad grinned down at me. "I need to be closer to my work partner. Plus whats life without a little danger~?" He laughed, putting his bag in the back of the car. He snatched my bag from me and shoved it in the car. I cringed, hoping my books were okay. Some of them were paper back!
My little brother threw his bag in over my head. He then quickly got into the front seat. "Dibs!" He grinned at me through the side mirror. I huffed, "Hey-! You got the front all the way to the airport! Its my turn!" We bickered and fought. Until my dad resolved the conflict. Letting me sit in the front.
Brother grumbled, getting in the back with the dogs. I put in my headphones turning on a joji playlist and closing my eyes. I really just wanted to ignore my family for a little bit. I loved them but they were way too loud sometimes. I opened my eyes slightly, watching all the trees and small houses as we drove by. It was acctualy really pretty here.
After almost two hours of driving we stopped infront of a large gated house. I smiled. It was bigger than our old one. That usually ment that we would be staying longer. Thats good. I dont like moving so much. I turned off my music and took off my headphones. We pulled into the driveway and I instantly got out, happy to stretch my legs. I helped bring everything inside. All the rest of our stuff was already here. I let the dogs out and they instantly ran around, excited to be out of that stuffy old car. I stretched and brought my bag to my room. Mine was on the first floor, since I am known to be clumsy I wanted to avoid the stairs as much as possible. I took off my glasses, cleaning off the steam from the inside of the lense. I sat them on my nightstand and flopped on my bed, almost instantly passing out.

(Sorry the first chapter is so short! I'll try to make it longer next time! Hope you enjoy anyway lmao!)
