I walked over to the nearest bench and sat down. I didn't want to see Miranda again so I thought that it would be best if I called Aaliyah.

I dialed her number and she picked up on the third ring.

"H-hello?" Aaliyah nervously stuttered.

"Hey, where are you?"

"I'm at the car, I went in the direction of the food court a couple if minutes after you left, but you weren't there. So I left and came here,"

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute," I said then hung up.

I jogged to the exit and came across the parking lot. I scanned the area then seen my sister talking to a tall handsome man with brown hair and blue eyes.

I approched them and held out my hand to the stranger and said, "Hi, I'm Jessica,"

He introduced his self as Joey then told my sister that he needed to be somewhere in a few minutes then left.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Friend from school." She assured me.

"A Friend," I smirked.

She giggled and said, "Let's blow this popsicle stand." And with that, we left.

-

We got to the house and I sprinted up the stairs and went to get ready even though he was picking me up in a couple of hours.

I took off the makeup I had on and applyed waterproof mascara. I walked over to my dresser and looked in the drawer that was already ajar. I yelled my sisters name, and I few seconds later she walked in and asked, "What is it?"

"In like, two hours I'm going to my friends pool, can you please take me over there and help me pick out which bathing suit to wear?" I desperately explained.

She nodded her head and smiled. She picked out the bikini that was strapless and had a light pink background and had pineapples on it and the same with the bottom.

I thanked her then she left. I undressed myself and slipped on my bathing suit. I put on some blue denim high waisted shorts over it then plopped down on my bed. I got on twitter for awhile then tweeted;

@Jessss97: Pool laterrr 🏊💖

I tossed my phone onto the mini couch I had in the corner of my bedroom. Then I took my favorite book, Looking for Alaska, off of my nightstand and decided to re-read it for the fifth time.

- 2 hours later-

I got up and grabbed my phone then checked my notifications. I had 4 favorites on twitter, 3 text messages, and 1 snapchat.

I checked my texts and two was from my best friend, Grace:

Hey bb I'm bored! Come over.

Then she sent another text that said:

Nevermind. My family and I are going out today. Maybe tomorrow?

I texted back saying that I had plans anyway and that we could hang out tomorrow. The other text from my mom said:

Hey baby girl, I'm at work. I'll be back at 6:00.

I went to my contacts then clicked on "new contact" and added Matt then texted him:

Can I come over yet?

He texted back instantley and the text read:

Yes I got off around 15 minutes ago.

I got my beach bag or whatever and grabbed things like sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, extra pair of clothes, etc. Then I put on my white converse. I walked out of my room and knocked on my sisters door and she opened it and said, "You look cute!" I smiled and she asked, "Ready?" and I nodded my head.

-

My sister pulled into Matthews driveway and she asked, "Who's house is this anyway?"

"Matthew, the guy you met at the mall."

She grinned and said, "Have fun."

I got out of the car and admired his house. It was a nice house, with green shudders, and the whole house was white, and had a black door.

I came up the white steps up to the porch and knocked on Matts door. A semi-tall man answered the door and asked with a strong accent, "Are you a friend of Matt?" I nodded my head and he said, "Come in. He's in his room, it's upstairs and the first door on the right."

"Thank you," I said.

I walked upstairs and the door to Matts room was open but he wasn't in there. I stepped inside of his room and loudly whispered, "Mattchu."

No answer. His room was painted a dark shade of blue and he had a desk with his laptop on it with a black rolly chair.

"Matt?" I reapted.

He jumped out from behind his door and screamed my name. I screamed and playfully hit his arm. Matthew was laughing histerically. "Less' go swimming!" He exclaimed.

He smiled then picked me up like how the groom does the bride at the weddings and grabbed my bag then carried me downstairs.

He sat me down at the bottom of the steps and I was giggling nonstop.

-

We got to the pool and we were putting sunscreen on our bodies. Matthew picked up his phone and went into his music. He took a small little speaker that he had brought with him and plugged it into his phone then asked, "What kind of music do you listen to?"

"Pop music. Like Ariana Grande, 5sos."

He played Break Your Heart Right Back by Ari and I shreiked and shouted, "I love this song!"

He smirked then said, "Do you want to get in right now?"

I nodded my head and took my shorts off and threw them on top of a chair that I had set my stuff on earlier. I dipped my toes in the pool and said, "It feels great. Lets jump in together!"

Matthew said "Okay," and laughed a bit.

We stepped back a few and Matthew grabbed my hand and locked his fingers with mine and I looked at him and smiled and he smiled back. "One, two, three!" I shouted while running with Matt by my side.
