(Aphmau's POV)Hyria knocked on the steady wood of her house and an area opened up. What came out was not very surprising. One lone bookcase was behind the wall. Hyria went on her tiptoes to pick the highest book on the shelf.
"Many have forgotten of the Jury," Hyria admitted, "Nowadays, when people hear 'the Jury of Nine', they think of that blasted jury that was formed with the High Priestest Zane."
"There was a Jury of Nine before that?" I asked fascinated.
Shubble and Ross elected to not speak about it, keeping in silence. Their eyes became glazed as the reminisced about the past.
"Sky, Jin, Barney, Shelby, Ross, Max, Cory, Nick, and Red don't ring any bells, don't they?" Hyria questioned, although knowing the answer.
We shook our heads in confusion.
"There was once a race called the Crystillites. Their bodies are a solid projection from the crystal." Hyria nodded towards Shubble and Ross.
They reluctantly showed their crystals. On Shubble's bellybutton, laid a pink crystal. The squirrel had disappeared, leaving a brown haird man in his spot. He shuffled slightly but showed the palm of his left hand. The crystal shimmered in the light.
"These brave people fought with Irene, protecting her, when she couldn't. The divine warriors had their own regions to protect." Hyria grinned. But slowly her grin faded and she pursed her lips.
"If the relics are poping up, we need the Jury." She spoke with a hurried tone.
"We can protect Lady Aphmau just fine with out their help." Katelynn and Garroth argued.
Hyria sighed and answered. "Crystallines can be poofed and can regenerate at a quick rate, humans cannot."
"How can we find the Jury?" I asked, pressing on the matter.
"You are already looking at two of them." Shubble replied loudly, cutting in. She then murmured somthing to Ross, seemingly confirming something.
Shubble walked up to us and gave me a hand to shake. "Shelby, at your service."
I shook her hand and felt a blush crept onto my cheeks. Strange.
"I know how to find them."
