MR. LOVING

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.

Axel and Me, were sitting for dinner.
After a long tiring day, all I wanted was my bed, and sleep. However, Axel came out of nowhere and started whining to have dinner together.

"You look lost Rosalyn!?", He said.
I smiled weakly at him, "I am fine."
"You were out for shopping for whole day!? I mean is something bothering you!?"
I know he knows half of the things. Jaden must have told him.
"I promise I won't tell anyone...Not even Jaden."
I lifted my eyebrow, "You sure!?"
"Yeah!", He said swearing on his heart.

And that's when I spilled everything. I tried to sound monotonous, but my voice cracked at the end.
And then at the end, I ended up asking, "Who is Sapphire!?"

Axel was a great listener. He paid attention to everything what I told him. Quietly.

And now he was in deep thoughts regarding my question.
Sapphire. The name itself sent so many sensations in me. Jealousy being the most prominent one. How lucky she is to be loved by Jaden! How beautiful her life must be with Jaden! He must not be restraining himself before her. He must be loving her to the fullest.
Where is she!?
Who is she!?
May be she won't like me here! May be I'll have to go!

"Sapphire is his childhood love. And she left him at a very early age, leaving a permanent scar in his personality. I personally, despise her. But as you know, first love is something hard to forget...", I gulped hearing this.
There was still a hope that may be she isn't what it seems. And now, with Axel's answer, all hopes are shattered.

I was scared. For my own heart and so I ended up asking, "Will she return!?"
"I don't think so. She would have never left, if she had to return. Also people change. May be she won't like Jaden now, and may be Jaden won't like her now. It's simple. It's been nine years now."

I diverted my gaze knowing Axel was giving me a vague hope.

"Rosalyn! What you feel for Jaden is as clear as crystal...But would you mind saying it in words!? I promise it will remain between us.", He smiled hesitantly.
Not that I am a good secret keeper. What I feel, is always on my face. And Axel seems to be an understanding friend. I can tell him, and may be that will make me feel good.

I cleared my throat, "Axel! I love him!".
He gasped at my revelation.
"Are you sure Rosalyn!? It's probably just two weeks you both met..."
I took a deep breath and then began, "Axel...That was the first thing on my brain, when I thought I love him. There is something different about him. I feel like I know his eyes. I feel like there's much more to us that just these fifteen days. Everything about him is so subtle. He is so subtle. A person, who is so adequately equipped, never needs to keep me here, just for the sake of our friendship. But he does. I don't know much about myself except what dad tells. But I am well aware, that I am not a slippery girl, who'll fall for anyone she sees. But for Jaden, I can turn over all my ideals and ways of life. I don't know whether it's healthy or not, but I love him. I really do!"
