(ON HOLD) The Forbidden Labyrinth (An Undertale Story)

Chapter 1: The beginning

Chara's pov:

It's been three years after I fell to the underground. I was the first human to fall, but I wouldn't be the last one. Many other humans have fallen after me, and some I've even made friends with.

I remember I was falling, and I kept falling until I hit the ground and fell into unconsciousness. Next thing I knew, I was lying on a bed of golden flowers, and a little goat boy was shaking me, trying to wake me up.

I came to learn that his name was Asriel, and he took me home with him. Apparently, his parents were the king and queen of the underground, making him the prince.

When we got to his castle, he introduced me to his parents, King Asgore and Queen Toriel. Queen Toriel saw that I was injured and took pity on me, so she healed me up and decided to adopt me as their daughter. From then on, I've been Princess Chara, daughter to King Asgore and Queen Toriel, sister to Prince Asriel.

But that was three years ago, now let's get back to the present.

Now let me introduce myself correctly. My name is Chara, and I am 17 years old. I was adopted by the King and Queen, and ever since I fell no human that has fallen after me has gotten hurt, because after I fell the King made the Human Protection Act, which means that no human can be hurt by any monster.

For these three years that I've been living here, I've been living peacefully with all the monsters.

Third person pov:

Suddenly, Chara was pulled out of her thoughts by a voice that came from behind her.

???: "Chara, what are you doing?"

Chara's pov:

I heard a voice behind me and literally jumped out of my skin. I quickly turned around in a panick to see who was behind me, and gave a sigh of relief. It was only Sans.

"Sans, you scared me half to death!" I said, still a little shocked.

"Sorry..." he replied, a worried expression on his face.

"It's OK. Anyway, to answer your question, I was thinking about how grateful I am to live here in the underground." I said a tender smile on my face.

Sans looked at me, a big smile on his face, and replied, "Well I'm happy your happy kid. Though we better get going, don't wanna be late for Tori's Pie Party."

"The party! I totally forgot!" I yelled, putting my hands to my face. I couldn't believe I forgot about the party! Once a year, Toriel would bake lots of pies and invite everyone to come and have a party.

I started running at full speed, worrying that I was going to be late, when all of a sudden, Sans appeared in front of me out of no where, and I was forced to a halt in order to not trample him. In doing so, I lost my balance and fell to the floor.

"Woah, kid, are you alright?" Sans asked with a worried tone, extending an arm down to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I grumbled, taking his hand so he could help me up.

When I got up he said "Sorry about that, I just wanted to tell ya there's no need for running, you know I can just teleport us there, right?"

Right. I forgot. AGAIN. "Yeah, I know that. I just thought it would be a great way to exercise." I said, feeling stupid.
"Suit yourself." he said, shrugging his shoulders.

He was about to teleport away, when I shouted, "No, wait!"

He stopped and looked at me with a grin, waiting for me.

"Please take me with you, I don't want to be late." I begged.

"Sure, fine, just stop begging alright?" he said.

"Alright, alright, I'll stop." I said smiling.

Sans extended his hand to me, and I gladly took it.

Then he teleported, and we both vanished into the black nothingness.
