The School for Good and Evil: A New Dawn

Shut Up!

Me and Ally walk into school along with all the other new Evers and we all gasp as we walk into the foyer.
"It's more beautiful than the Camelot Castle!" Ally exclaims in awe, gazing at the crystal chandelier, "Isn't it?" She asks me, "It's more beautiful than anything I've seen anyway," I say.  "What's your name? You never mentioned." "Oh! My name's Ace, it doesn't really sound like a princess-like name..." I sigh. " Awh it's..." A boy walks up to us. I study him and he looks like Agatha but with Tedros' features. "Hey sis! I see you found a friend already," He says cheerfully, then he looks at me: "OI! GET OUTTA HERE YOU STINKY NEV-" Ally stops him, whispering into his ear, " She has a frigging Flowerground Pass! Calm down Alec!" "Oh....heh....sorry, Ally's new friend, I'm Alec, and you are~?" He stretches his hand out to me, and I take it. "Ace of Woods Beyond." He smiles gratefully at me and I returned it.

Little did I know I would end up with him in 4 years time.

I kick back and take in the relaxing, soft duvet of my new bed for next 4 or 3 years. My room was Charity Tower, room 52. Thank god I was sharing with Ally, and another girl I didn't know.  The other girl comes over to me and introduces herself: "Hi there! I'm Lily from the Neverlands,  Tinkerbell's great great granddaughter! What's your name?" "My name's Ace from Woods Beyond, and I'm probably known as a reader to you," I smile, taking in her image. She was short, and she looked as cute as an anime girl. She had small wings fluttering behind her back, and I could see straight away she was related to Tinkerbell.
"It's really nice here, isn't it? I hoped I would be taken here, it's a tradition for a set of twins in our family to be taken. My twin brother is in Honour Tower, he shares with Ally's brother and that reader boy. I also hope we can become friends!" "That's really interesting, and of course we can be friends! FYI, the reader boy's name is Jacob." The fairies start jingling their bells and it seems that we need to go somewhere. "Fuck! Pinafores on, quickly!" Says Ally, clearly worried. We rush to put our clothes on and step out in style. Everyone was heading the same way, and we walk with them. "Where are we going?" I whisper to Lily and Ally. "Welcoming Ceremony!" They whisper back at me. We enter the ginormous theatre, gazing at it's beautiful ways on (clearly) our side. The Never's side was the complete opposite of ours, and was completely dirty and sticky. We walk into our pew and sit down, and I gaze across to the Never side, and scan faces. I never saw who got taken, because I was scanning the boy more than the girl an- wait.

I stare at her and she stares back too. "Ace? Who is that you're staring at?" Lily asks me. "I-i-i-it's m-my best friend.." I couldn't breath. Would she be my nemesis like Sophie was Agatha's? Did she have any friends? I couldn't take it in, it was all too much- "Ace, if she's your nemesis, deflect her attacks. We can't have a second Sophie and Agatha here, some of us will die." Ally says, snapping me back into reality. Just then a two headed dog walks into the stage. One head was cute and fluffy and the other one was scowling. "May we have your attention please?" Said the fluffy, cute side. Nobody noticed. "SHUT UP YOU LOT AND LISTEN! I CAN TELL MOST OF YOU WILL BE FAILURES FROM JUST LOOKING AT YOU!!!" This time everybody looked. "WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ONE MORE STUDENT SO SHUT UP AND WAIT!!!!!" Said the scowling side, and sat down, scowling for all he was worth. Then the doors opened. Alec walked in, waving at all the pretty Ever girls and forcing a smile at the Nevers. He had a rose in his hand, and I immediately knew what was going to happen. He threw the rose, as expected, and a bunch of girls tried to catch it. Eva seemed to like him and ran after the rose even though she was a Never. But she never caught it. It landed in my lap. He stared at me and so did the other girls, only they were glaring. I knew what this meant. The same thing happened with Agatha and Tedros. Only replace Agatha with me and Tedros with his son. He took his seat next to his mates, who were obviously his roommates. I looked up at him and glared. He did too. Then the heads started speaking.
"My name is Pollux, and his name is-!" "MY NAME IS CASTOR." So now we knew them apart. Good.
"Welcome new Evers and Nevers, to the school where you will find your own Ever After, or Never After! Here is a warning to ALL of you: do NOT go near the School Master's tower, or you will be punished severely." Said Pollux, looking exactly like his brother so that we couldn't tell them apart anymore. He then returned to his normal self and explained everything about the two schools. I couldn't wait for class to start the next morning!
