"Mt. Magus is so pretty!"

Athanasia hears her sister say as she glance up at the large palace of crystal. Mt Magus, the home of most wizards, for centuries had finally stop the isolation of it's realm from the mortal realm. As such, the royal families and their entourages of the most powerful empires and kingdoms were invited by the Chief Wizards of Mt. Magus to a summit almost a month ago, and as apart of Obelia's royal family, she was here.

This was her first time here, but something about this realm felt familiar...as if she has been here, or lived here. Jeanette turned to her with a huge smile.

"Athy! Aren't you excited? I heard that the Wizard of the Black Tower left the Empire for here! Most of the high level wizards did. I wonder if we'll meet him."

Truthfully, Athanasia wasn't the least bit excited or happy. Nothing ever did, ever since what happened on her 18th birthday.

"We might be able to get help from a wizard here. For your amnesia."

Athanasia hears the emperor say from in front of her, to which she bit her lip. She didn't want her memories back. Something told her she would be better off not remembering anything.

There was a large timespan for which she has no recollection of, 8 years of memories that were found no where, and no clue when she woke up in the ruby palace on the eve of her 26th birthday, to the shock and delight of most of the empire.

Why delight? She nearly snorted at the thought. She was the unloved princess for more than half of her life and through the entirety of her childhood. Suddenly the emperor showered her with beautiful dresses, jewelry and trinkets upon her return, and she was wary to say the least.

I mean, who would trust a cold blooded emperor that attempted to take her life?

"Sister, what's wrong?"

Jeanette seemed worried as she tugged on Athanasia arm, to which the blonde shook her head and managed a small smile at her sister. Jeanette was kind. She had no blame, especially since she was the reason why the execution was stopped.

"Nothing. Do not worry."

"Alright..."

Athanasia glance around the entrance of the palace. Other than other royal families and their entourages were some wizards, all who were looking at the royal families with some curiosity and concern.

Not that she blamed them at all. Wizards here — what the book called them were 'full-fledged mages' were different from the ones found in the mortal empires, were especially powerful, and apparently hate bloodshed. And royal families...people who hold life and death of many other people were the ones they ought to be wary off. After all, even though they were all powerful wizards now, all of them had started off as ordinary mortals.  Mortals that were once citizens under the rule of those mortal rulers.

No one was born to be a powerful wizard, they had to cultivate their mana and train, after all.

Too bad she had no magic potential. She would have long left the imperial family if so. Nobody wants to be near a coldblooded murderer, do they?

"Royal families of the world's empires and kingdoms; the chief wizards of Mount Magus like to thank you for accepting their invitation to this world summit. I am the Elder Chief Wizard's assistant; Lord Travis. Tonight after your royal highnesses settle in, a banquet will be held for you to meet some of the Chiefs themselves."

Athanasia hears as the royal families arojnd her whisper among themselves, clearly excited by the prospects of meeting the wizards that guard the world.
