Lexi's POV
Harry and I were walking out of the Ministry, just as a man and woman walked up to us.
"Harry Potter, Lexi Black, nice to finally meet you," The man said.
"Sorry but who are you two?" I asked as polite as I could.
"Oh, sorry. I am Kingsley Shacklebolt. This is my accomplise, Nymphadora Tonks,"
"You can just call me Tonks, though," She smiled.
"Nice to meet you two,"
"If you'd like to come with us, we have an old friend that would like to see you,"
"Do you two work for Voldemort?" I asked incredulously, my hand on my wand.
"No, of course not! The opposite, actually. Come with us, we won't hurt you,"
I looked to Harry who nodded. If Harry trusted these people, then I guess I could.
We hopped onto a double-decker bus and awkwardly sat down, the two strangers staring at us.
"Do you trust them, Harry?"
"Yeah. I believe that they're not with Voldemort. We'll see, anyway,"
As we got off the bus, we stopped in front of what looked to be an apartment block. But as we stared at it, the walls expanded and apartments parted to make way for a whole building in the middle, obviously where we were going.
"Come, children,"
As we stepped inside, I could tell that it was safe. We were lead upstairs and into a room by Kingsley and Tonks. When we stepped inside the room, I saw familiar black curls and ragged clothing.
"Sirius!" I shouted, causing him to turn around in shock. I ran up to him and embraced him tightly. Harry ran up and did the same.
"My young friends! So nice to see you again! How old are you two, now? 17?"
"Only 15, Sirius," I laughed.
"What are you doing here?" Harry asked, curious. "I thought you wouldn't want to risk being caught,"
"I don't care about getting caught, my boy. I'm here because you two are the newest members of our little group,"
"What group?" I asked.
"The Order of the Phoenix,"
~*~
"Dumbledore started the Order in the 1970's to help et rid of Voldemort. The Order played a crucial role in the First Wizarding War, which I assume you've heard of," Harry and I nodded, remembering hearing about the First Wizarding War in a Defence Against the Dark Arts class.
"Although they won, the Order lost many of it's members. After Lexi told Dumbledore that Voldemort's back, the Order started up again, ready to get rid of Voldemort for good,"
I nodded, understanding the Order more. Harry and I were the newest initiates to join and also the youngest.
"The current members are Professor Dumbledore, Tonks, Kingsley, me, The Weasley family, excluding Ron and Ginny, Mad-Eye Moody, Aberforth Dumbledore, the headmaster's younger brother, Dedalus Diggle, Professor McGonagall, Mundungus Fletcher, Hagrid, Professor Snape, Professor Lupin, and now you two," Sirius explained.
"Professor Lupin's part of the Order?" I asked. I hadn't seen him in ages.
"Yes, I am, my young wolf friend," I heard a familiar voice answer.
"Professor Lupin!" I ran up and hugged him, which had him taken aback. He eventually returned the embrace.
"You can call me Remus, now. I don't teach at Hogwarts, as you know. It's nice to see you, Lexi. How are you?"
"Fine, I guess,"
"I heard what happened last year. That poor boy. I'm glad you're alright, though,"
"I was lucky, I guess. Voldemort's back, though,"
"Yes, I'm aware. We'll get him eventually," Remus patted my shoulder.
As Tonks walked into the room, I saw Lupin instantly focus on her. I instantly knew that feeling and realised he was in love with Tonks.
"Go get her," I whispered in Lupin's ear. I blush crept in his cheeks and he suddenly grew unusually quiet. "Fine, I'll go tell her," I smugly smiled before walking towards Tonks.
"Lexi!" Lupin stopped me.
"You go or I'm going," I laughed.
Lupin walked up to Tonks and the two started having a conversation. It looked like they were really hitting it off. Harry saw my smile, instantly knowing I did something.
"Lexi, what did you do?" Harry asked, cautiously.
"Just got Lupin to talk to Tonks. He likes her,"
"Well, you did a good job. They look like they're getting along quite well,"
Sirius suddenly walked over to the two of us, wanting to say something.
"I'm glad you two are willing to be a part of the Order. We need people with your talents. Well, you two better get going. You need to leave for Hogwarts tomorrow,"
"Thanks, Sirius," I hugged him. Harry went up and hugged his godfather before walking up to me and holding my hand as we walked towards the door. I then heard an, "Awww! They're in love!"
I looked over my shoulder at Tonks who guiltily smiled at me. I gave her a death stare, noticing she was holding hand with Lupin. Lupin then made eye contact with me and winked.
My plan worked.
