Mother Is Not Dead.

I rushed back into the house and called Rose downstairs.

"WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY MOTHER!" I cried.

"Cool down Eva"" Rafael said rubbing my back..

"How can I-I c-c-cool down... my mother's lifeless body is infornt of me !!"

"She isn't dead... those vampires just drained the life out of her... they were using her blood. That's probably the reason why they wanted Reyna."

"Reyna!! My babies."

I rushed upstairs and picked them up. 

"Eva!, your mother needs a blood transfusion instantly!!, or she will actually die.!"

"What!...."

"Check my blood, she is my, my mother.....!  Right....take my blood!"

"Hold on Eva!.... calm down let me get my supplies, whether you have the same blood or not..i have no choice. She will die either way"

She stuck the needle in my arm and the process began. My mothers body was pale, the colour was slowly returning but not quick enough. When the process was complete, she still didn't wake.

"Rose why didn't she wake up!! She was supposed to wake up!!!" I bawled

"Calm down Eva,..... now we must wait, we do not know how long this has been going on for.. it can takes days, weeks even months."

"I'll find a spell!!!! I wake her up... I won't loose her twice I wept.

I heard the babies crying as I wept and I didn't want them sad because of me. I took them up and walked to my mother. "This is grandma..., when she wakes I'm sure she will love you with all of her heart. Reyna stretched her hands out to my mother and I lay her down next to her. She crawled on top of her and lay down her head. She got and and started beating her chest.

"No! Honey don't hit grandma."

Just then my mothers eyes fluttered open. Reyna sat on her stomach clapping.

"Who are you my dear?" she asked and Reyna lay down on her chest.

I couldn't help but cry. "Mom!"

"She sat up and looked at me. "Eva your okay.."

" I ran up to her and hugged her for all the years I've missed.

"Honey, your squeezing me, my body hasn't yet recovered." I wiped my tears and sat next to her while she bounced Reyna on her lap.

"Who's cute little baby is this"

"Mom, that's my daughter, Reyna, and these are my sons Eran and Eric."

"I'm a grandma?!"

"Yes"

"Let me hold my grand babies"

I handed them to her and watched in awe. I almost forgot the kind and gentle woman my mother is.

Rafael chose the wrong time wrong time to enter the room.

"Come to daddy" he said as he took Reyna from my mother and walked away.

"Who was that hun, is that your husband.?"

"Mom, please don't ask..........Let's just leave it at the fact that he is my children's father." I said with an exaggerated smile.

'Oh, okay...., didn't you learn never to lie to your parent's!?" she added

"Mom, what are you t-talking about..?" 

"By now, I know that you know what you are, and that mark on your neck wasn't put there by you now was it?!" 

"Uhhh.... fine you caught me..."

"I wouldn't be your mother if I couldn't now would I"

I hugged her tightly. "I really did miss you mommy, it was really hard getting used to Abigail's parents..."

"What are you talking about! I left you in your fathers care.... Don't tell me he did that to you."

"When I was thirteen, he gave me too them because he had something really 'important' to do and couldn't take care of me anymore."

"Sweetie, I'm sorry I couldn't have been there for you...."

"It's okay mom.. I can call dad now for you guys to resolve the issue."

I dialed the number and it went straight to voicemail. That's strange, he usually answers instantly.

I called his second number and after a couple of rings he picked up.

"Daddy?, where are you... why didn't you pick up."

"Right now I have to leave the country and go to Europe... I have to go now bye!" and with that he hung up abruptly.

"What did he say?"

"He..he hung up on me...."

"It's okay sweetie..... don't fuss over it"

"No, something's not right......

Then it hit me, mom just woke up, he acts weird and is leaving to go to Europe, the place where Vlad resides.

"I-i-is my f-father double crossing me?
