Chapter 3

Eliza's POV

I woke up to the sound of growling, I checked my watch, it was midnight, I looked around, where was I?, "oh yeah" I mumbled, remembering where I was, i was in the forest.

I looked down, there was a creature circling the tree, I didn't know what that thing was, it had the head of a scorpion, a lions body and a snake tail, overall it was hideous.

I leaned over the branch to get a better look, but I may of leaned a little bit to far, because I ended up falling off, I went tumbling down, it was good 10 foot drop, I would probably end up breaking my arm or leg.

I landed roughly on the ground and sure enough something snapped, I felt a searing pain in my left leg, I looked down and my leg looked crippled.

my attention went back to the creature in front of me, it snarled and growled, sliver dripped from his chin, "I found you" a raspy voice said, did that thing just....speak.

"w..what do you want" I asked, he ginned , "if I eat you, I'll gain all your power" he replied, I slowly back up, but something was stopping me from going further back, it was like a force field or something, but I could go through it.

the monster's tail whacked my upper body and I went flying, I went through the force field, bounced of a grassy meadow and slammed into something wooden.

but that wasn't the end of it, I slowly got off the wood, my jumpers hood was covering my face, blood trickled down my arm and forehead, I couldn't feel my head.

the monster somehow broke through the field and was coming after me, but something wasn't right, there were people talking all  around me, I looked around and saw lots of teenagers.

I was younger then all of them, but still, were the hell was I?, the monster kept advancing, closer and closer he came, the people saw the monster and got out many swords, spears and shields.

I heard the monster chuckle, "I'm not after you puny demigods, I'm only after the girl" he said, many eyes turned to me, that just made me pull my hood down even more.

"w..what do you want with m..me" I asked quietly, "I want your power" he replied, "I don't have any power" I whispered, but the thing still heard, he smirked, "that will make it easier to eat you".

"not if we can help it" a strangely familiar voice said, I looked to my side, only to see.....PERCY!!!!, I stared at him, why was he here, and then the strangest thing happened, water flowed into his hand, creating a Trident.

that was it, I couldn't take it, so I fainted.

Time Skip ~

I awoke to the sound of whispering, my eyes slowly blinked open, I was in a grassy field, with lots of people staring at me, I scanned the area, but there were no corners to hide in, so I curled myself up into a ball.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up and saw Percy standing there, he smiled at me, "there's no need to be afraid, my names Percy, what's yours?" he asked.

I smirked under my breath, "My names Eliza Willows, Percy Jackson" I replied, I took the hood off my head and Percy plus the others, gasped.

"you were one of the helpers at my school" I said happily, he nodded and turned to Grover and Annabeth, they both walked forwards and smiled at me.

"...... so where am I" i asked them, they looked at each other and nodded, "before we answer that, perhaps we should show you around", Annabeth suggested, I nodded yes and  stood up, I stumbled around for a bit, but I finally gained balance.
