Harry- You didn't exactly confess your feelings in a conventional way. Rather, you were talking to him after one of the DA meetings and you gave him a kiss on the cheek before running off. You tried to avoid him for a while after that. You didn't go to the DA meetings and you declined going with Luna to feed the thestrals just in case he showed up. You got caught off guard when he found you in the library and came up to you. He asked where you've been and why he hasn't seen you recently. You tell him that you've been busy, but he doesn't believe that. He says that you're making it really difficult for him to ask you out by avoiding him. Your shocked expression makes him laugh since you seem to be even more oblivious than he is.

Ron- You've been friends with Ron for two years now. You usually tend to hang out with Ginny more than you hang out with him though. You do this because you're not sure that Hermione likes having you around very much. She's never rude or anything, she just doesn't seem to like you. When Ron asks if you want to go to Hogsmeade with him for your first trip, you misinterpret what he's asking. You tell him that while you appreciate his offer you don't think Hermione will want you there. He flushes bright red and stutters a little. You ask if he's okay and he says that isn't what he meant. He tells you that he really likes you and rephrases his question to ask if you want to go on a date with him to Hogsmeade.

Neville- You and Neville spend a lot of time together in the greenhouses. You volunteer to help Professor Sprout occasionally and he usually offers to help with you. One day, in your fourth year, while you are in the greenhouse nursery you get scraped by one of the Venomous Tentacula sprouts. Luckily, since its just a sprout, all it does is sting. But it still hurt a lot. It surprised you and made you yelp. Neville heard you yelp and gently set down the baby mandrake he was caring for. He went over to you quickly and cupped your hand in his, carefully looking over the scratch. He had you sit down on one of the stools and went to the front of the greenhouse where Professor Sprout always stores a first aid kit. He came back over and pulled up a stool next to yours. When he was settled he took your hand and looked it over. He pulled out an anti-venom cream and cleaned your cut, wrapping it tightly so it won't get infected. You watched as his eyebrows furrowed and unforrowed and you smiled. He looked up and saw you smiling which made his cheeks flush. You took a deep breath and said "You're my favorite person. Did you know that?" He stuttered and said that he didn't know that. You nodded but didn't say anything else. When he finally decided to speak he asked you if that meant that you liked him. You told him that it did and you both went back to work, this time much closer together.

Seamus- Becoming friends with Seamus was a long, somewhat annoying road. You often fought over silly things since he, and his temper, had a talent for blowing up. Despite this, you chose to continue being his friend. His temper is not the only annoying part of your friendship. That part is on him, but the other part is squarely on you. You had developed a bit of a crush on him during your third year and it never really went away. Sneaking to the kitchens in the middle of the night with him didn't help your situation. Especially when Dean loved to tease you and Seamus about liking each other. Of course he always denied it so you denied it too. One night during your fifth year you decided to hide away in the kitchens. You had just gotten a letter from your oldest brother. He was getting married, but it was too dangerous for them to hold a wedding because his fiance is muggle-born. You had been there for about half an hour when the clattering of dishes alerts you to someone's presence. First Dean, then Seamus popped out from behind one of the walls. You didn't bother asking how they found out where you were because your housemates were the obvious answer. You were able to keep them unaware of your unhappiness for awhile, but not long enough. When Dean began his usual routine of teasing you snapped. "Whether I like him or not is beside the point. He doesn't like me so that's the end of that." You stood up and walked out. The sound of footsteps behind you was unsurprising and unwelcome. Seamus ran ahead and stopped in front of you, blocking you whenever you tried to dodge him. When you gave up and sat against the wall he took a seat next to you. You laid your head on his shoulder and he whispered to you that he liked you too.
